Abstract:
A vehicular slider window assembly includes a frame having upper and lower rails. A fixed window has an opening and the rails are attached at the fixed window. A movable window is movable between a closed position and an opened position. A carrier disposed at a lower edge of the movable window moves with the movable window between the opened and closed positions. A sensing system determines when the movable window is in the closed position and includes a switch assembly that is actuated when the movable window is in the closed position. The switch assembly includes a switch device within a housing. A portion of the housing is an end stop configured to limit movement of the carrier when the movable window is in the closed position. The switch device includes a contact and, when the movable window is in the closed position, the contact actuates the switch device.
Abstract:
A vehicle includes a roof panel, hinge bracket, cover, and retaining clip. The roof panel defines a recess. The hinge bracket is secured to the roof panel within the recess. The cover is disposed in the recess. The cover has a doghouse that extends downward toward the bracket. The retaining clip has a head that is disposed within the doghouse, a stem that extends downward from the head beyond the doghouse, and a biasing element that forces an opposing surface of the stem into contact with an edge of the bracket.
Abstract:
A hinge apparatus that includes a stationary hinge portion, which includes a first bracket configured to be attached to a fixed surface, a first arm extending from the first bracket, and a second arm extending from the first bracket. The first and second brackets include axial holes with a hinge pin arranged therethrough. The hinge pin defines a rotation axis. The stationary hinge portion also includes a stop plate extending away from the first bracket and connected to the first arm. The hinge apparatus also includes a rotatable hinge portion, which includes a body arranged around the hinge pin between the first and second arms and a stop body extending from the body along the rotation axis. Ends of the stop body contact the stop plate to limit rotation of the body about the rotation axis. A second bracket configured to be attached to a movable body.
Abstract:
A smoke vent including a curb and door assembly utilizing a continuous hinge assembly that extends an entire length of a door. Hinge members of the door assembly and curb define continuous, extruded hinge members such that the door is supported across the entire length of the hinge members, whereby localized deflection of the curb is avoided. By supporting the door across the entire length of the hinge member, a door seal can be evenly compressed against the curb so as to prevent moisture/water intrusion when the door is in a closed disposition. The door assembly can further include a dome member that substantially defines an upper and lower surface of the door(s). Each door can comprise a plurality of retainer clips that positively couple the dome member to extruded members that define a door frame while providing a moisture resistant seal between the dome member and the door frame.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a refrigerator of which door is opened without interference by a structure positioned next to a side of the refrigerator. Since a main body and the door of the refrigerator are provided with hinge units, while the door is opening, the hinge units rotate in a direction in which the door rotates while protruding, and thus the structure positioned next to the side of the refrigerator is not positioned in a radius of rotation of the door, and the door may rotate without interference. In addition, hinge covers which move in conjunction with the movement of the hinge units are provided at one sides of the hinge units. When the hinge units protrude due to the opening of the door, since protrusions of the hinge units are provided not to be exposed by one ends of the hinge covers sliding.
Abstract:
A method for making an electric hinge comprising providing first and second hinge plates, each hinge plate having at least one knuckle and forming in each hinge plate an open slot extending from an edge distal from the knuckle and terminating at a mid-portion of the hinge plate to the knuckle. The open slot depth is less than the thickness of the hinge plate. The method includes drilling a hole from the terminus of each open slot to the knuckle of the hinge plate and passing a wire through the hole from the terminus of the open slot to the knuckle in the first hinge plate and from the knuckle of the second hinge plate to the corresponding terminus of the second hinge plate. The method includes mating the first and second hinge plates by inserting a hinge pin through the knuckle of each hinge plates to form the electric hinge.
Abstract:
The storage device (1) comprises a storage compartment (2), comprising an upper opening (10), and a lid (6), said lid (6) being movable between a closed position and a first opened position, wherein the storage compartment (2) is accessible from a first side (12) of the opening (10), and a second opened position, wherein the storage compartment (2) is accessible from a second side (14) of the opening (10). The storage compartment (2) comprises a locking device comprising a first locking element (16) and a second locking element (18), respectively extending on the first side (12) and the second side (14) of the opening (10), each locking element (16, 18) being engaged in the lid (6) in the closed position in order to lock said lid (6), the storage compartment (2) further comprising an unlocking device selectively actuable to retract the first locking element (16) from the lid (6), while maintaining the second locking element (18) engaged in the lid (6), to move the lid (6) towards its first opened position, and to retract the second locking element (18) from the lid (6), while maintaining the first locking element (16) engaged in the lid (6), to move the lid (6) towards its second opened position.

Abstract:
A faceplate body for a functionally essential structural component, in particular for a fitting with a faceplate having at least the appearance of a decorative element, and with a support element. The faceplate body is configured with at least one attaching means for connecting to the functionally essential structural component.
Abstract:
A guidance system for sliding doors, with a running rail for guiding a track roller of a door guide, a drive system having a drive device, and a travel space of the door guide extending in the longitudinal direction of the running rail. The travel space is delimited at least in part by the running rail. The drive device is arranged in the longitudinal direction of the running rail as a prolongation of the travel space and is mounted via a mounting device in the running rail.
