Abstract: A pulley includes a main winding portion including an annular main winding groove, where a wire is windable, formed between a first flange and a second flange; and an auxiliary winding portion including an auxiliary winding groove, where the wire is windable, formed between the second flange and a third flange. The auxiliary winding groove includes a closest portion closest to the main winding groove in the radial direction thereof, and a curved portion curved toward the main winding groove in a portion adjacent to the closest portion so that the curved portion joins the main winding groove at the closest portion. The third flange includes an auxiliary guide portion extending in the radial direction of the auxiliary winding groove so that the groove depth of the curved portion becomes larger than that of the closest portion. This structure can provide a pulley allowing easy winding of a wire.

Abstract: An emergency door closing device that can be installed upon existing doors and hinges to automatically close doors in the response to smoke and fire. The improvements incorporated therein include a hinge cam pivot member that attaches to an existing hinge member of a door and produces a moment force about the existing hinge member allowing a reduced force necessary to pivot the door into a closed position. Further, a novel spring, cam, and lever system is incorporated to activate the moment force to close the door.

Abstract: A vehicle window regulator includes a slider base supported on a guide rail; a drive wire connected to the slider base; a wire guide supported at one end of the guide rail and having a winding part, onto which the drive wire is wound, at a position offset from the guide rail in a vehicle width direction; and a driver which raises and lowers the slider base via the drive wire. The wire guide is supported by the guide rail by a retainer and a pressing portion, the retainer engaged with the guide rail, and the pressing portion being engaged with the guide rail to press the guide rail toward the other end of the guide rail. The pressing portion is formed at a position toward the other end and formed at a position offset from the retainer toward the winding part.

Abstract: A guide-pulley device is equipped with: a guide pulley having a plurality of grooves configured so as to independently accommodate two cables for moving in a manner such that when one moves in a winding direction, the other moves in a feeding direction; and a storage body for storing the guide pulley. The storage body has first and second storage members which attach to one another. The first storage member has a base on which a support shaft for supporting the guide pulley stands upright. The second storage member has a lid section which faces the base section. The first storage member also has a partition wall for forming two routing channels for routing each of the cables, and a plurality of hooks projecting from the partition into the grooves. The base, the partition wall, and the hooks are formed integrally.
