Die Erfindung betrifft einen Verschluß für Öffnungen aller Art, vorzugsweise für Möbel, z.B. Schränke. Der Verschluß weist in zwei in seitlichen Führungen geführte, parallel zueinander angeordnete und im wesentlichen rechteckige, plattenförmige Verschlußelemente (8, 9) auf, die aus ihrer Verschlußstellung, in der sie im wesentlichen überdeckungsfrei nebeneinander liegen, in ihre Öffnungsstellung, in der sie sich vollständig oder fast vollständig überdecken, verschieblich sind, und umgekehrt.

An extension spring overhead door system (10) in which the spring (22) may be quickly and easily placed in tension with the door (21) in a closed position. A spring tensioning device (30, 140) is provided which eliminates the need for multiple installers to lift the full weight of the door (21) and then clamp or otherwise prop the door (21) in an open position. An extension spring containment tube (84) is also provided which surrounds the entire periphery of the spring (22) to fully contain the entire length of the extension spring (22). A second embodiment of the spring tensioning device (140) allows mounting of device (140) on either side of the door (21) while retaining easy access.

Das-Garagentor besitzt mehrere über Gelenke mit horizontalen Gelenkachsen aneinander angeschlossene Torblattsectionen (9), die seitlich in Schienen (4) eines Zargenrahmens geführt sind, wobei die jeweils letzte Section über einen Seilzug (12) an eine Feder (17) angeschlossen ist. Feder (17) und Seilzug (12) dienen zum Gewichtsausgleich beim Öffnen und Schließen. Anstelle von Torsionsfederwellen wird eine Zugfeder (17) in der Weise eingesetzt, daß der Seilzug (12) über Rollen (14, 15) eines Flaschenzuges geführt ist, an dessen einer Rolle (15) die Zugfeder (17) angeschlossen ist, deren anderes Ende am Zargenrahmen (2) befestigt ist.

The invention relates to a self-supporting sliding gate (1) having a stationary base (2) and at least one guide rail (3) on which a door leaf (4) is arranged, and a drive system (5), wherein the guide rail (3) is optionally mounted directly on the stationary base (2) and can be displaced relative thereto by way of the drive system (5). According to the invention, the drive system (5) is arranged on and/or in the door leaf (4) and connected to the base (2).
