    Abstract: A hydraulic pump assembly (10) for powering a hydraulic torque wrench (24) is air-powered and has hydro-pneumatic control circuitry (39) which continues operation of an air motor (18) which drives the hydraulic pump (16) for a post-advance period after an advance actuator (55) is deactuated. Operation of the pump (16) is continued for a period sufficient to retract a double-acting torque wrench (24), to permit subsequent advances of the wrench (24) within the post-advance period without restarting the pump (16) or to permit a single acting wrench to be moved from one fastener to the next within the post-advance period without restarting the pump (16). Operation of the pump (16) is terminated when the post-advance period expires if the advance actuator (55) is not reactuated, so as to conserve energy and avoid unnecessary heating of the hydraulic fluid.

    Abstract: A slide-out support system (28) for a flat floor slide-out room (12) of a recreational vehicle (10) has ways (40) on both sides of telescoping inner rails (34) which present a pair of downwardly facing ramped surfaces (110) on which rollers (70) roll to support the room (12). Ramped surfaces (56) are provided on opposite sides of stationary outer rails (30) on which rollers (50, 52) mounted to the inner end of the inner rails (34) roll to also help support the room. The ramps (110, 56) are in registration with one another so that during extension and retraction the rails (34) are lowered and raised while maintaining them substantially horizontal. A follower (72) has a roller (76) which rolls on the upper surface (36) of the inner rail (34) and a roller (78) which rolls on the lower surface (80) of the slide-out floor (64) to lower or raise the floor (64) as the rail (34) is lowered or raised while maintaining the floor (64) in a substantially constant horizontal orientation.

    Abstract: A drive assembly for driving a moveable component (2,63,64) of a vehicle (1,60). The component can adopt one or more positions in which the component prevents access to the vehicle or a part of the vehicle. The drive assembly comprises an actuator (30) which is coupled to the component and provides the force for moving the component, and a control unit (45) for actuating the actuator. The drive assembly has an emergency operating mode, in which the actuator can move freely in at least one direction, in such a manner that the actuator allows movement of the component caused by an external force being exerted on the component other than by means of the actuator, preferably by hand. The drive assembly is also provided with theft detection means (34,50) for detecting theft and/or attempted theft of the vehicle and/or of goods which are present in the vehicle. The theft detection means are coupled to the control unit. The drive assembly is designed in such a manner that, if this assembly is in the emergency operating mode and the moveable component is in a position in which the component prevents access to the vehicle or a part of the vehicle, and then the theft detection means detect theft or attempted theft, the emergency operating mode of the drive assembly is cancelled, and that the drive assembly is then moved into a blocking mode, in which the free mobility of the actuator is cancelled and the actuator blocks movement of the component caused by an external force being exerted on the component.
