Abstract:
A mobility system includes a wheeled base, an exoskeleton assembly, and a docking assembly arranged to support the exoskeleton assembly on the wheeled base. The exoskeleton assembly has an upper torso portion, upper leg portions pivotal relative to the torso portion and lower leg portions pivotal relative to respective ones of the upper leg portions. The docking assembly is operable to couple the exoskeleton assembly to the wheeled base in a sitting position. The seating surface in the sitting position and the position control motors for operating the exoskeleton from sitting to standing are all separable from the wheeled base together with the exoskeleton assembly. Alternatively, extensible links may dock the standing exoskeleton to the wheeled base so that the base can trail the exoskeleton through a walking motion.
Abstract:
A device for treating conditions associated with sebum production includes an end effector configured to apply a cycling mechanical strain, to an area of the scalp, of a character and for a duration sufficient to displace sebum.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a multifunctional sanitary hair-washing device comprising two parts that can be detachably connected. The parts are formed by blanked laminar templates and comprise undercuts for coming into contact with the neck of the user, forming a front tub (1) and an additional rear element (2). The front tub (1) comprises at least one water outflow opening (3) used for washing the head. The two parts (1, 2) are joined by means of connecting means (6) which allow the movement of the additional rear element (2) over the front tub (1). Furthermore, the additional rear element (2) comprises at least one second undercut (8) on one side for coming into contact with the neck of the user in a second position of the hair-washing device, rendering said device more versatile.
Abstract:
A therapeutic pressure strap for applying pressure across a muscle or muscle groups on a mammalian limb is described. The strap is particularly well suited for treating "tennis elbow". The strap contains an adjustable fastening means for securing and tightening the strap around a limb. The strap also possesses a plurality of pressure members (e.g., elongated rubber tubes) that apply separate and discrete areas or points of pressure in a line across a muscle or muscle group and generally perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the limb.
Abstract:
An upper body attachment, which may be used with a piece of exercising, stretching, or massaging equipment that incorporates whole body vibration (WBV) technology, provides a user with a way to apply WBV technology to the upper body. The attachment may include a pair of uprights and a crossbar to which a variety of types of handles may be slidably attached. The attachment may have a base that both supports the uprights and connects the uprights with the equipment incorporating the WBV technology. Accordingly, the attachment transfers vibrations from the vibrating equipment to the handles that a user grips. Several exemplary WBV upper body exercises that the attachment facilitates include push-ups, pull-ups, and dips.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a set for installing a cosmetic applicator comprising:—at least one first portion of applicator,—at least two second portions of applicator,—reversible assembly means for assembling each first portion with each second portion, in order to produce the applicator.
