Abstract: PURPOSE: A PWM control type high-capacity PTC(Positive Temperature Coefficient) heater is provided to reduce the heat-radiating through a pattern circuit to a plurality of power transistor and to perform an accurate operation control. CONSTITUTION: A PWM control type high-capacity PTC heater comprises a plurality of PTC rods(100), an upper housing(500), a lower housing(600), and a PCB(Printed Circuit Board)(700). The PCB is installed in the upper housing and comprises an anode terminal(810) and a cathode terminal(820). On the PCB are installed a plurality of power transistors(750) and the anodes(110) of the PTC rods. The power transistors are respectively parallel-connected to the anode terminal. The anode terminal is extended to have a long length in a flat type and is projected from a component mounting face of the PCB. The cross-sectional area of the anode decreases, as going from the start point to the end point of the power supply.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A heater for a car having a variable circulation path is provided to improve thermal efficiency and save energy by optimally controlling a flow path of the heater. CONSTITUTION: A heater for a car having a variable circulation path comprises an engine(110), a heat generating unit(120), and a sub heating device(200). The engine comprises an inlet(111) and an outlet(112). Through the inlet and the outlet, a working fluid for cooling is flowed in and out. The heat generating unit is connected to the engine through a flow path, and generates heat by the heated working fluid. The heat generating unit comprises an inlet part(121) and an outlet part(122). The sub heating device is connected to the heat generating unit and the engine. If the engine is cooled, the sub heating unit heats the working fluid flowed into the heat generating unit in order to circulate the working fluid through a flow path passing through no engine. After warming up of the engine, the sub heating unit circulates the working fluid through a flow path where the heat generating unit is connected to the engine.

Abstract: An air conditioner for a hybrid electric vehicle and a control method thereof are provided to save electrical energy by collecting lost energy and storing the collected energy as liquefied refrigerant and using the collected energy. An air conditioner for a hybrid electric vehicle driven with an engine(1) and an electric motor(2) comprises a compressor.
