A device for analysis of biochemical samples (1) is disclosed, comprising a sample holder (2), with an image recording device, presenting a light-sensitive layer (3), connected to an analytical circuit (10) and an illumination device for the samples (1). According to the invention, simple construction conditions may be achieved, whereby the light-sensitive layer (3) of the image recording device, provided on the sample holder (2), comprises a photoactive layer (4), made from organic semiconductor between two electrode layers (5, 6), of which the electrode layer (6), between the photoactive layer (4) and the samples (1), has an at least partly transparent embodiment.
