Abstract:
An articulation arrangement connects individual elements of a folding structure which consists of two or more individual elements and is configured to be unfolded and locked in an unfolded position and swivellably disposed on a central body. The arrangement comprises two hinge parts each rigidly fastened at one of two adjacent individual elements and swivellable about a common hinge axle, a slotted disk provided with a slot and forming part of one of the two hinge parts, a lever swivellably disposed on the other of the two hinge parts and provided with a pin. The pin is configured and arranged such that, before the unfolded position is completely reached, the pin slides on an edge of the slotted disk and, in the completely unfolded position at which locking occurs, the pin is engaged in the slot. For unlocking of the folding structure there are provided a rotatable cam plate with an edge curve of changing radius to disengage the pin and pulleys as well as driving and transmitting devices to rotate the cam plate and to transmit the rotation to the respective adjacent elements.
Abstract:
A skylight operator includes a chain drive driven by a motor. Polarity of power applied to the motor is controlled to selectively open or close the window. Polarity is controlled by an H-bridge switching circuit driven by a microcontroller. The microcontroller receives commands from any one of a plurality of control devices The operator includes a feedback circuit using a hall effect sensor in connection with a ring magnet on the motor shaft for sensing incremental movement of the motor, representing movement of the window. A potentiometer control device allows unattended full or partial opening of the window. A user need only turn the potentiometer knob to a desired amount of opening. The microcontroller in response to such a command compares the command to the feedback signal and controls the motor to minimize the difference between the two.
Abstract:
A closure assembly for preventing transmission of interference fields, especially high-frequency magnetic fields. The assembly comprises a closure which is disposed to be movable with respect to a fixed structure, with the closure and/or the fixed structure being provided with elements for establishing contact and thereby preventing transmission of interference fields between the two. In accordance with the present invention, the closure is disposed to move substantially rectilinearly in a direction substantially perpendicular to a plane along a surface of the closure, and substantially rectilinearly in a direction substantially parallel to the plane of the closure.
Abstract:
A hinge support system for a cabinet door to prevent the skewing down of the door during movement of the door from the closed position to a retracted position. The system includes pulleys mounted on the side wall so the cabinet with a cable connected around the pulleys and with the ends of the cable connected to the slides for the sliding hinge assemblies.
Abstract:
A door device for furniture, which has a plurality of door members provided laterally in opposition to each other in a front opening of a furniture body, longitudinal sliders capable of moving the door members in the longitudinal direction with respect to the furniture body, and a lateral slider capable of moving the door members in the lateral direction with respect to the furniture body, the front opening being opened by sliding one of the door members forward and then sideways to superpose the door member on the front surface of the adjacent door member, a plurality of support rails fixed to the portions of the furniture body which correspond to the door members, and a support roller which is adapted to engage a support rail on the side of the door member adjacent to the door member to be opened, when the lateral slider is extended to more than a predetermined extent during the lateral sliding of the door member to be opened to cause the lateral slider to be inclined slightly due to the load of the same door member, provided on the lateral movable rail so that the support rollers can be rotated freely.
Abstract:
A reversible window is disclosed, which can be reversed by rotation in such a manner that the outer side of the window comes to the inner side thereof, and in which a reverse rotation shaft (17), attached near the central portion of the upper surface of an upper window frame (12) of a window (1), is disposed so as to be slidable, and at the time of the 90-degree opening of the window (1), the window (1) can be moved up to the extreme end of its outer frame.
Abstract:
A furniture drive for moving a furniture front relative a furniture carcass includes a base body to be fixed to the furniture carcass, and an actuating arm pivotally supported on the base body about at least one first pivoting axis in a mounted condition. The actuating arm includes a plurality of levers hingedly connected to one another, and at least two of the levers of the actuating arm are configured to be releasably connected to the base body of the furniture drive. At least the levers of the actuating arm are symmetrically arranged with respect to a notional middle plane of the actuating arm.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an overhead luggage compartment for an aircraft, comprising an upper luggage compartment element, a lower luggage compartment element movable between a locked and an open position, a holding device for holding the lower luggage compartment element in the closed position, a lifting spring for supporting the movement of the lower luggage compartment element from the open position to the closed position, and a retaining device for fixing the lifting spring in the tensioned state in the open position of the lower luggage compartment element. An operating handle for releasing the retaining device in the open position of the lower luggage compartment element is provided, wherein the lower luggage compartment element is movable, optionally with support by the lifting spring or with the lifting spring fixed in a tensioned state, from the open position to the closed position.
Abstract:
A plug door opening-closing apparatus, which is adapted for use with a vehicle having a vehicle front-rear direction and a vehicle width direction, includes a door hanger capable of coupling a door panel of the vehicle, a movable guide configured to guide movement of the door hanger in the front-rear direction and move in the width direction, a guide support member that guides movement of the movable guide in the width direction, and an interlock mechanism mechanically connected to the movable guide. The interlock mechanism conforms a movement amount of a first portion of the movable guide to a movement amount of a second portion of the movable guide.
Abstract:
A device for opening and closing a movable window of a motor vehicle, the movable window being movable relative to a fixed panel, from a closed position in which the movable window is positioned flush with the fixed panel, to an open position in which the movable window is moved parallel to the fixed panel. The device includes an assembly controlled from a handle mechanism supported by an edge of a frame secured to the movable window, such that starting from the closed position, actuating the handle a first time releases locking of the movable window then, secondly, brings the movable window out of its closed position, an edge of the window corresponding to the edge of the frame being moved relative to the fixed panel, to the position allowing sliding of the movable window.
