Abstract: The present invention relates to a remote control apparatus which can remotely control multiple devices. A remote control apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a key input unit having multiple keys; a reception unit for receiving at least one device identification signal from at least one device or a transmission device corresponding to the device; a processor for detecting an identification signal for a device, which can be remotely controlled, from the at least one received device identification signal, and matching at least one of the multiple keys to a control command for the remote control of the device, on the basis of the detected identification signal; and a transmission unit for transmitting a signal corresponding to the control command when the key matched to the control command is selected. Accordingly, the present invention can remotely control multiple devices.

Abstract: A communication system and method are provided for remotely reproducing a touch pattern or gesture as a vibrotactile output. At a touch screen, a first user device receives a touch pattern by a first user, characterizes the touch pattern as a touch pattern data based upon time and intensity of touch at a plurality of array points of the touch screen, and communicates the touch pattern data to a network. A tactile array of micro-vibratory devices is attached to a garment and worn by a second user. The touch pattern data is wirelessly received from the first user device via the network. Vibration of selected micro-vibratory devices of the tactile array is modulated in timing and intensity in response to the touch pattern data to reproduce the touch pattern.

Abstract: A controller, a wireless module and a wireless repeater, by which a possibility of interruption of wireless communication between the controller and a wireless operation panel can be significantly reduced. The wireless system includes a robot and a controller for controlling the robot. When the robot is to be taught, a human uses a wireless teaching pendant so as to teach the robot. The controller has a wireless module for wirelessly communicating with the teaching pendant, and the wireless module is configured to receive a signal from the teaching pendant via at least one wireless repeater, as well as a signal directly transmitted from the teaching pendant. In other words, the wireless module receives a multiplexed signal generated by multiplexing signals from the teaching pendant by using at least one wireless repeater.

Abstract: A Wi-Fi/radio frequency (RF) converting device includes a Wi-Fi transceiver, a multiplexing converting module, an RF transceiver, and an RF extension device. The RF extension device transmits the second wireless control signal, which corresponds to at least one another electric appliance, to the at least one another electric appliance.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method and system for controlling access from a communications network (2) to any device (4) that is opened automatically, said system comprising a mobile device (2) and a remote control (1). The remote control (1) is characterised in that it: obtains the signals that control the automatic opening devices (4), either by means of cloning via antenna or using other means, and transmits said signals to the communications network (3), by means of its connection to any mobile device (2). Access can then be controlled from the communications network (3), simply by transmitting the signal that actuates the automatic opening device (4), via the mobile device (2) to which the remote control (1) is connected, to another requesting remote control (1). The remote control (1) then transmits the signal allowing the actuation thereof. Any remote control (1) can be used to actuate any automatic opening device (4).

Abstract: A lighting control system and method is disclosed for not only controlling visual content loaded within a group set of illumination devices configured within a wireless network, but also for ensuring minimal control delay to those grouped devices. The lighting control system can include a lighting controller device that controls a plurality of lamps within a mesh network, not only to group those lamps but also to assign content to lamps within that group.
