Abstract:
Speaker bracket comprising an attachment body (2) having a pivot column formed within a recessed channel. An arm assembly is provided comprising a tiltable inner arm portion (4) at least partially housed within an outer arm portion (3). The outer arm portion has a pivot channel into which the pivot column is received for connecting the arm assembly to the attachment body (2) and permitting it to swivel about the pivot column. A rotatable assembly is provided comprising an interface plate (6) connected to the front of the inner arm portion (4) and a speaker fixing plate (8) for attachment to a speaker and being rotatably connected to the interface plate (6) through a shaft (9) and fastener. The shaft (9) and fastener are at least partially received within a cavity in the front of the inner arm portion (4).
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a slidable fixture comprising a first body and a second body, wherein the first body and the second body are magnetically attracting each other for clamping a sheet carrier in between, and wherein the surface of the first and second body facing the sheet carrier are sufficiently smooth for sliding the fixture over the sheet carrier upon pulling for repositioning it on the sheet carrier, characterized in that first body is a casing having a cavity adapted for integrating a light or heat or electrical energy delivering device or multimedia device therein or a combination thereof.
Abstract:
A loudspeaker includes a horn and a compression driver in a shallow package for installation in a wall, e.g., a four inch wide wall. The total depth for this loudspeaker may be about 3 and ¾ inches. A low frequency speaker can be supported by the frame and dimensioned to be mounted in a wall. The horn can be supported by the frame positioned by the speaker. A compression driver is supported by the frame and acoustically connected to the horn. The horn acoustically loads the compression driver to provide a high dynamic output and a high sound pressure level with controlled acoustic directivity.
Abstract:
A flat panel sound system (400) includes an acoustic backing (410) and stand-offs (412) on its back side. The stand-offs (412) are interposed between a frame (406) or housing (408) and the wall on which the sound system (400) is mounted. The sound system (400) further includes an electronic housing (414) and exciters (404) mounted on the frame (406). The electronics within the electronic housing (414) receive wireless inputs from a user interface and drive the exciters (404) to produce an audio output. The stand-offs (412) inhibit transmission of vibrations to the wall and allow acoustic waves to emanate the back side of the flat panel system.
Abstract:
A flat panel speaker configured for mounting in a surface is disclosed, comprising: a mounting unit for mounting inside the surface and having a front and a back; a speaker unit having a flat panel, wherein the speaker unit is seated in the mounting unit and at least partially extending frontwardly from the front of the mounting unit; and at least one holding portion arranged for extending frontwardly outwards past the speaker unit and to be usable to hold the flat panel speaker in the surface during mounting. A method of mounting the flat panel speaker in a surface is also disclosed, comprising: inserting the mounting unit of the flat panel speaker through an opening defined in the surface; using the at least one holding portion to hold the flat panel speaker in the surface during mounting; and securing the mounting unit to the surface, whereby to hold the flat panel speaker in place in the surface.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a speaker unit (1) which includes a provisionally fastening mechanism (10) provided on a side surface (2c) of a cabinet section (2) for provisionally fastening the speaker unit (1) to a mounting part (60) with at least a portion of the cabinet section (2) inserted in an opening section (61) of the mounting part (60) from a face side of the mounting part. The provisionally fastening mechanism (10) includes an engagement section (13) for provisionally fastening the speaker unit to the mounting part, and a retention section (17) for retaining the engagement section (13). The engagement section (13) is movable between an engagement position in which the engagement section engages with the mounting part and a cancellation position in which the engagement section cancels the engagement with the mounting part by being moved away from the mounting part, and the retention section (17) retains the engagement section (13) in the cancellation position.
Abstract:
[Object] To provide an electric light bulb type light source apparatus capable of reducing backlash, which results in noise, and improving the sound quality of a speaker. [Solving Means] The electric light bulb type light source apparatus includes a speaker, a light source unit, a supporting unit, a casing, and a base. The supporting unit supports the speaker. The supporting unit includes a base portion. The base portion includes a tapered surface and a supporting surface that supports the light source unit. The casing includes an abutting surface that abuts against the tapered surface of the base portion. The base is used for supplying a power to the light source unit and the speaker.
Abstract:
A speaker provided with an electrostatic speaker unit, includes: a sound absorbing material having a first face which is disposed on a side of a first face of the electrostatic speaker unit, and which has an area equal to or larger than an area of the first face of the electrostatic speaker unit; and a holding member holding the electrostatic speaker unit and the sound absorbing material. A second face of the sound absorbing material, which is opposite to the first face thereof, is disposed so as to be opposed to a face of a sound insulating element, and an area of the face of the sound insulating element is equal to or larger than the area of the first face of the electrostatic speaker unit.
