Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire rope for running ropes, which is filled with a separately prepared resin, unfailingly restricts the motion of element wires to reduce the breakage at the contacting core face, reduces the elongation and improves the fatigue life. SOLUTION: The rope is composed of a core rope, a plurality of side strands placed and twisted around the core rope, and plastic spacers placed between the side strands. The core rope has the core rope body and a resin coating layer encircling the body, the core rope body is separated from the side strands with the resin coating layer, and the resin spacer has a contour corresponding to the outer layer element wires of the side strands and intruds between the element wires. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain metallic cords for reinforcing rubber articles, composed of 3-5 metallic filaments, improving rubber infiltrativeness thereinward without lowering its compressive rigidity, and also enabling their production cost and related installation cost to be reduced. SOLUTION: The metallic cord 7 composed of three metallic filaments for reinforcing rubber articles is obtained by spirally wrapping a single metallic filament 1 with another metallic filament 2 into a filament bundle 6 and stranding the filament bundle 6 with the other metallic filament 3 at pitches P. A 2nd version of the metallic cord composed of four metallic filaments is obtained by forming two sets of the above filament bundles followed by stranding them together. A 3rd version of the metallic cord composed of five metallic filaments is obtained by further stranding a single metallic filament with the two sets of the above filament bundles. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic fiber rope formed by multiplying twists of yarns and strands, having a small elongation rate at a high tension, capable of greatly improving a strength utilization rate of tensile strength of synthetic fibers, and ensuring an elongation rate substantially the same as an elongation rate of synthetic fibers used.SOLUTION: A synthetic fiber rope 1 is formed by twisting or combining a plurality of strands 2 comprising a cylindrical woven cloth that is woven with warp and weft of synthetic fibers and a core material of a plurality of synthetic fibers paralleled in the cylindrical woven cloth. The synthetic fiber includes one or a plurality of fibers selected from polyamide fibers such as nylon, polyester-based fibers, polyacrylonitrile-based fibers, polyvinyl alcohol-based fibers such as vinylon, polypropylene-based fibers, polyvinyl chloride-based fibers, polyethylene-based fibers, polyvinylidene chloride-based fibers, and polyurethane-based fibers.

A wire rope for a running wire, has a core rope, a plurality of side strands arranged at an outer periphery of the core rope to be twisted together therewith, and a resin spacer interposed between the side strands, the core rope including a core rope main body composed of a plurality of wires and a resin coating layer outwardly surrounding the core rope main body so that the resin coating layer separates the core rope main body from the side strands, each of the side strands being composed of a plurality of further wires, and the resin spacer being provided with contour corresponding to an outer layer of the further wires of the side strands and extending between the wires of the outer layer of the side strands.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an annular metal cord and an endless metal belt, excellent in breaking tenacity and easy in production, and to provide a production method of the annular metal cord. SOLUTION: The annular metal cord C1 comprises an annular core part 3 formed to be annular with first and second strand substances 1, 2 provided by twisting plural metal wires 5, 6, and an outer layer part 4 covering the periphery of the annular core part 3 and provided by spirally twisted plural times around the annular core part 3. By coating a covering adhesive around the annular metal cord C1 to adhere and solidify, the periphery of the annular metal cord C1 is covered with an outer layer cover 10 comprising a covering material having elasticity.
