Abstract:
This invention relates to a Denim protective fabric, with fire-retardant properties, and the process of dyeing the warp with indigo blue dye on a mixture of cellulosic and synthetic fibres, in order to obtain a permanently fire-retardant fabric, resistant to flame, heat, breaking, tearing, cutting and abrasion by impact. The resulting fabric is also antistatic and can be considered as a protective fabric like fire-retardant Denim and also a multi-risk fabric. The indigo blue dye is applied on a mixture of cellulosic and synthetic fibres with permanently fire-retardant properties such as fire-retardant viscose, fire-retardant modal, modacrylic, polyacrylate, polyamide, polyester, antistatic carbon, para-aramid, meta-aramid, polyamide-imide, polyethylene, PBI, with the aim of obtaining an authentic Denim jeans fabric, with the characteristics of the tincture based on indigo blue dye that loses its colour on rubbing, with use and washing.

The invention relates to a cellulose textile cord (50) having an at least triple twist (T1, T2, T3), comprising at least N strands (20a, 20b, 20c, 20d), where N is greater than 1, which strands are twisted together to a final twist T3 in a final direction D2, each strand being made up of M pre-strands (10a, 10b, 10c), where M is greater than 1, which pre-strands are in turn twisted to an intermediate twist T2 (T2a, T2b, T2c, T2d) in an intermediate direction D1 which is opposite to D2, with every pre-strand consisting of a spun fibre (5) that has been twisted on itself to an initial twist T1 (T1a, T1b, T1c) in the direction D1, wherein at least half the N times M spun fibres are spun cellulose fibres. The textile cord can advantageously be used as reinforcement in vehicle pneumatic tires, especially in the belt or the carcass ply of said pneumatic tires.

[Problem] To provide: a spun yarn which has not only a soft texture but also functions that cannot be attained by a natural or cellulose-based fiber alone, namely high water absorption, quick drying property and non-see-through property, and which is suitable for clothing, particularly for inner shirts or sport shirts; and a woven or knitted fabric comprising the same. [Solution] A mixed spun yarn which comprises 20 to 80 mass% of a polyester-based fiber having a flat multi-lobe section and 20 to 80 mass% of a cellulose-based fiber, wherein: the cross section of the polyester-based fiber has a flat shape which has six or more protrusions on the circumference; and the flatness degree and modification degree of the cross section are prescribed.

The present invention provides a production method for purified polysaccharide fibers in which carbon disulfide emission is suppressed while efficiently producing purified polysaccharide fibers having excellent strength, purified polysaccharide fibers produced by using the production method, a fiber-rubber complex using the purified polysaccharide fibers, and a tire having excellent tire characteristics using the fiber-rubber complex. Disclosed is a spun yarn for a fiber-reinforced plastic, which is composed of blended yarns (3a, 3b) of a natural plant fiber and a synthetic fiber. The synthetic fiber is a thermoplastic synthetic fiber capable of serving as a matrix resin in a FRP. Also disclosed is an intermediate for a fiber-reinforced plastic that is a woven fabric, a knitted fabric, a multiaxial warp knitted fabric or a braided fabric, formed of the aforementioned spun yarn for a fiber-reinforced plastic. Also disclosed is a fiber-reinforced plastic molded article that is obtained by heating and press-molding the intermediate for a fiber-reinforced plastic at a mold temperature equal to or higher than the melting point of the synthetic fiber, or by aligning the spun yarn for a fiber-reinforced plastic in at least one direction, heating and press-molding the same at a mold temperature equal to or higher than the melting point of the synthetic fiber. Thus, the spun yarn for a fiber-reinforced plastic that exhibits superior integrity between the natural plant fiber and the synthetic fiber and that also a good moldability can be obtained at a low cost. And furthermore, the intermediate and the fiber-reinforced plastic molded article using the same can be provided.
