Abstract:
The invention relates to a synchronizing device for a movably mounted furniture part, said synchronizing device synchronizing a movement between at least two adjusting devices via a synchronizing rod. The synchronizing rod has at least two sub-shafts between which an overload protection device is arranged, said overload protection device releasing a relative rotational movement between the two sub-shafts when a specified holding torque between the two sub-shafts is exceeded.
Abstract:
A personnel access door assembly of an opposing wing of a mine ventilation door. The personnel access door includes a frame including a top portion, a bottom portion, a first post portion and a second post portion, the top frame portion and the bottom frame portion coupled to respective top and bottom ends of the first post and second post portions. The personnel access door further includes sets of trolley wheels affixed to the top or bottom of the frame to engage a top rail or bottom rail affixed on the opposing wing.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a movably mounted furniture part comprising a torque-transmitting shaft, especially a synchronizing rod, the shaft having at least two sub-shafts, one sub-shaft being a rod-type component and the other sub-shaft being a connecting part, and a connecting device for connecting the rod-type component to the connecting part, especially comprising at least one spring that resiliently holds the rod-type component and the connecting part together. A locking part is formed on the rod-type component and/or on the connecting part and/or can be mounted thereon, said locking part securing the rod-type component and the connecting part against detachment.
Abstract:
A main support frame is formed from sections of a plastic extrusion and has opposite side portions with peripheral recesses receiving an inner sash unit and outer sash unit each having a frame formed from sections of a plastic extrusion and supporting an insulated glass window unit. Hinges support the dual sash units for pivotal movement between open and closed positions, and gear connected telescopic link members connect the main frame to the sash frames for simultaneous movement. A lock system includes a handle on the inner sash unit for moving straps with studs on the sash frames through a connector mechanism mounted on the main frame for simultaneously locking and releasing both sash units and for releasing only the inner sash unit. A screen and/or mini-blind may be supported between the sash units, and the window system with dual sash units may be constructed in various forms.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a synchronization device for moving a first actuating device in synchronization with at least one second actuating device. The first actuating device and the second actuating device are provided on a piece of furniture in the installed state in order to move a movable furniture part. The device includes a synchronization rod for transferring a synchronous motion of the at least two actuating devices, and at least one fastening device, by which the synchronization rod can be detachably connected to at least one of the two actuating devices. At least one detachable locking device is also provided, which prevents the synchronization rod from being connected to the at least one fastening device in the locked state of the locking device, wherein the locking device is in the locking state without prior actuation by a user.
Abstract:
An articulated device comprises a first member that is provided with a first set of teeth fixedly connected thereto. A second adjacent member is provided with a second set of teeth fixedly connected thereto. A coupling section is also provided on which the first set of teeth is hingeably supported around a first hinge axis and on which the second set of teeth is hingeably supported around a second hinge axis wherein the first set of teeth engages with the second set of teeth. A positioning device sets an angular position of the first and second members relative to the coupling section.
Abstract:
A two-sided fire door system includes a horizontal head track having a first end and a second end; a first door including a plurality of interconnected panels suspended vertically from the head track by trolleys arranged for horizontal movement between the first end and a point remote from the first end; a second door including a plurality of interconnected panels suspended vertically from the head track by trolleys arranged for horizontal movement between the second end and a point remote from the second end; and an endless chain in an elongate loop having a first end looped around a drive sprocket and parallel first and second runs fixed to respective first and second lead trolleys. A drive motor rotates the drive sprocket in opposite rotational directions to open and close the doors, the motor being blocked against rotation when the motor is not operating. A suspended weight closes the doors automatically by means of a cable attached to one of the lead trolleys when the blocking is released.
Abstract:
A cabinet door collapses and slides into a concealed position inside a door compartment of a cabinet. The door has a first wing which is pivotally connected to a second wing and to a vertical door-supporting bar which travel insides the door compartment. The second wing is guided by carriages running in upper and lower continuous guideways that extend inside the door compartment. A device for moving the door-supporting bar includes a stationary toothed belt inside the door compartment, a toothed wheel and guide pulleys carried by the door-supporting bar. The toothed wheel is operatively connected to a torsion spring inside the door-supporting bar. A locking device locks the toothed wheel, when the door wings are in a coplanar closed position, and releases the toothed wheel, when they are in a parallel open position.
Abstract:
A sliding device (13), guided on the ceiling (3) or under the floor (7) of a cabinet (1) with a rail element (19), which allows a sliding door (15) to be synchronously pulled away from the closet (1) in a parallel manner and then slid. In order to also guide the lower edge of the sliding door (15), the motion of the sliding door can be transmitted from the upper edge of the sliding door to the lower edge by a transmission shaft. No cavities or guide grooves have to be formed on the cabinet (1) or the floor (7), ceiling (9), side walls (3), or partition wall (5) thereof.
Abstract:
A hinge bracket attachable to a pocket door slide system wherein the pocket door slide system comprises components capable of achieving a full inset or partial overlay pocket door position without the hinge bracket, and wherein use of the hinge bracket enables the pocket door slide system to achieve a substantially full overlay pocket door position.
