Abstract:
A door driving apparatus includes a rotary actuator, a rotary transmission member integrally fixed to an output shaft extending from the rotary actuator, and a pair of linear transmission members opposed to each other via the rotary transmission member. The linear transmission members are configured to be in mesh with the rotary transmission member and to move approximately parallel to each other in opposite directions.
Abstract:
A vehicle decklid system uses a planetary gear drive to move a decklid relative to a vehicle body. The planetary gear drive includes a rotatable gear that is disposed between two fixed gears. One fixed gear is rigidly mounted to the decklid and one fixed gear is rigidly mounted to the vehicle body. A rotating link connects centers of the rotatable gear and two fixed gears. The combination of the planetary gear drive and rotating link make it possible to provide powered complex, two-dimensional motion of the decklid requiring a four-bar linkage.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a door drive for garage, garden, hall or factory doors, comprising a motor unit which comprises a drive motor and a motor output shaft, an output transmission, which on the input end can be connected with the motor output shaft and on the output end includes a transmission output shaft for driving a door moving element, in particular a door shaft, a release clutch for releasing the motor output shaft with respect to the door moving element as well as at least one damping element for damping drive shocks. In accordance with the invention, the door drive is characterized in that the output transmission includes a transmission housing formed separate from the motor unit and together with the release clutch and the damping element forms a separate, modular drive attachment, which can be connected on the one hand to the motor unit and on the other hand to the door moving element.
Abstract:
An Improved garage door opener wherein a motor is coupled to the drive shaft of the door at upper side with gear attached to the drive shaft thereof to operate the garage door and a clutch mechanism is provided to move the gear from engaging location to allow the door to be manually opened or closed. This invention results in a quieter environment both in garage and in the room above garage and a substantial simplification over current garage door openers which require a rail and trolley mechanism for opening and closing the door. No extra space required for this opener.
Abstract:
This invention relates to an overhead door closer with slide arm assembly having a toothed pinion that is eccentrically supported and presents a circular rolling curve, which pinion meshes with a toothed rack arranged at a piston. The invention concentrates on a particular embodiment of the rolling curve and of the teeth of the toothed rack in adaptation to a toothing of the pinion. Furthermore, the invention concentrates on an improved embodiment of the delayed closing operation in order to achieve an optimized movement pattern of the piston within the housing of the overhead door closer with slide arm assembly.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a hinge comprising a moveable hinge section and a hinge section consisting of a fixed stop section, which are interconnected by at least one joint axis, and comprising a damping device mounted on one of the hinge sections whose translationally or rotatably moveable damping member is acted upon at least in the closure region of the hinge via gear means from the other hinge section. According to the invention for adjustment of the moveable damping member depending on the tilt of the moveable hinge section relative to the at least one joint axis, there is provided at least three moveable gear members are provided, of which one is the damping member itself.
Abstract:
A roll screen cassette is provided for installation in a closure assembly which has a frame for moveably retaining a closure member. The frame includes a header, sill, and vertical jamb sections. At least one of the sections includes a pocket formed within its interior. The pocket having a first predetermined configuration defined by the interior of the section and for receipt of the roll screen. The roll screen including a pair of brackets from which said roll screen is pivotally supported. The pair of brackets having a second predetermined configuration compatible with the pocket of the frame section having the first predetermined configuration. The pair of brackets utilized for removeably retaining the roll screen within the pocket in use. The pair of brackets and roll screen being removeably held in position with respect to the frame only by the pocket having the first predetermined configuration and the pair of brackets having a second predetermined configuration compatible with the pocket and being located in the pocket in use. The compatible shapes of the pair of brackets and the pocket when installed in the frame section cooperate to prevent the pair of brackets from rotating with respect to the pocket and the frame when the roll screen is let out or taken up.
Abstract:
A pivot-hung door drive system with an electro-mechanical or electro-hydraulic drive device that supplies the opening and closing moment required to open and close a connected pivot-hung door panel, whereby an electronic regulation/control system with at least one memory and at least one microprocessor, on the basis of sensor signals, controls the opening or closing moment by means of a gear wheel that is located on an output shaft, which gear wheel is connected by means of a linkage and an actuator arm with the pivot-hung door panel, whereby between the output shaft of the pivot-hung door drive system and the linkage or the actuator arm, there is a device that effects a change in the opening and closing moment over the angle of rotation of the pivot-hung door panel.
Abstract:
A roll screen cassette for installation in a closure assembly having a frame for moveably retaining a closure member, said frame including a header, sill, and vertical jamb sections, at least one of said sections including a pocket formed within the interior thereof, said pocket having a first predetermined configuration defined by the interior of the section and for receipt of the roll screen, said roll screen comprising a pair of brackets from which said roll screen is pivotally supported, said pair of brackets having a second predetermined configuration compatible with said pocket of said frame section having the first predetermined configuration, said pair of brackets utilized for removeably retaining the roll screen within said pocket in use, said pair of brackets and roll screen being removeably held in position with respect to said frame only by said pocket having the first predetermined configuration and said pair of brackets having a second predetermined configuration compatible with said pocket and being located in said pocket in use, wherein the compatible shapes of said pair of brackets and said pocket when installed in said frame section cooperate to prevent the pair of brackets from rotating with respect to the pocket and said frame when said roll screen is let out or taken in use.
Abstract:
An articulation device for a hatchback mounted pivoting on a motor vehicle via a swivel rod. A structure is provided for automatically controlling the hatchback pivoting movement by a pivoting movement of a first end of a rod relative to the vehicle body structure. The hatchback pivoting direction, relative to the second end of the rod, is reversed during the first end of the rod pivoting movement between two extreme angular positions associated with extreme closed and opened positions of the hatchback.
