Abstract:
Provided are a resin composition for underlayer film formation with which a variation hardly occurs in the line width distribution after processing due to a small thickness of a residual film after mold pressing, a layered product, a method for forming a pattern, an imprint forming kit, and a process for producing a device.A resin composition for underlayer film formation includes a resin having a group represented by General Formula (A) and at least one group selected from a group represented by General Formula (B), an oxiranyl group and an oxetanyl group, a nonionic surfactant and a solvent. Ra1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, Rb1 and Rb2 each independently represent a group selected from an unsubstituted linear or branched alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms and an unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 20 carbon atoms, Rb3 represents a group selected from an unsubstituted linear or branched alkyl group having 2 to 20 carbon atoms and an unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 20 carbon atoms, and Rb2 and Rb3 may be bonded to each other to form a ring.
Abstract:
A method of manufacturing a mineral fiber thermal insulation product comprises the sequential steps of: Forming mineral fibers from a molten mineral mixture; spraying a substantially formaldehyde free binder solution on to the mineral fibers, the binder solution comprising: a reducing sugar, an acid precursor derivable from an inorganic salt and a source of nitrogen; Collecting the mineral fibers to which the binder solution has been applied to form a batt of mineral fibers; and Curing the batt comprising the mineral fibers and the binder which is in contact with the mineral fibers by passing the batt through a curing oven so as to provide a batt of mineral fibers held together by a substantially water insoluble cured binder.

An article, comprising a substrate and a polymer film attached to the substrate is provided, the polymer film comprising a first layer of a first polymer functionalized by a first functionalization compound covalently bound to said first polymer and bearing at least one catecholic group being present on a surface of the first layer. The polymer film is a layered film, a top layer of which is formed by the first layer, the layered film comprising at least one further layer of at least one further polymer functionalized by a further functionalization compound covalently bound to said further polymer and bearing at least one catecholic group being present on a surface of the at least one further layer, wherein an average ratio of catecholic groups per polymer molecule is equal to or less than 1 in case of the first polymer and greater than 1 in case of the further polymer.
Abstract:
Coating compositions are disclosed. In some embodiments, the coating compositions are used to coat substrates such as packaging materials and the like for the storage of food and beverages. The coating compositions can be prepared from a hydroxyl phenyl functional polymer, a phenolic crosslinker, and a non-aqueous solvent, wherein the hydroxyl phenyl functional polymer is prepared using a phenol stearic acid compound, and wherein the acid number of the hydroxyl phenyl functional polymer is less than about 30 mg KOH/resin.
Abstract:

Abstract:
The invention relates to a process for the manufacture of a waterborne multistage polymer dispersion that has ethylenically unsaturated functional groups for crosslinking. The process comprises the steps of; a. making an aqueous emulsion or solution of a first stage polymer comprising carboxylic acid functionalized monomers to an amount sufficient to make the first stage polymer water soluble or dispersible, b. at least partially neutralizing the first stage polymer with a base, c. forming a two-stage polymer dispersion by adding to the at least partially neutralized first stage polymer a second stage monomer mixture and emulsion polymerizing said second stage monomer mixture to a second stage polymer which is less hydrophilic than the first stage polymer, d. reacting with the obtained two-stage polymer dispersion a bi-functional compound comprising an ethylenically unsaturated group and a group reactive towards the carboxylic acid in the two-stage polymer. The invention further relates to a water-borne curable multistage polymer dispersion, to coating compositions.
