Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a carbonized fabric, by which the carbonized fabric having excellent electromagnetic wave absorbability, electric characteristics or dielectric characteristics, heat resistance, mechanical strength, flexibility and the like, can relatively easily and economically be produced. SOLUTION: This method for producing the carbonized fabric includes thermally carbonizing a woven fabric, a knitted fabric or a woven and knitted fabric composed of cellulosic fiber yarns as a raw material fiber fabric. The method includes restraining and holding the dried raw material fiber fabric having a water content of less than 25% from one of the longitudinal and transverse directions of the fabric, and then heating the fabric in the restrained and held state in a temperature range of 250-450°C at a temperature-rising rate of 50-200°C/hr in an oxidizing atmosphere having an oxygen fractional pressure of 50 mmHg or greater in a heating oven, continuously heating the fabric at a temperature-rising rate of 50-200°C/hr to a final heating temperature range of 750-1,000°C in a non-oxidizing atmosphere having an oxygen fractional pressure of less than 50 mmHg, and then heating the fabric at the final heating temperature for a prescribed time. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a carbonized fabric, by which the carbonized fabric having excellent odor adsorbability, non-conductivity, heat resistance, mechanical strength, flexibility and the like, can relatively easily and economically be produced. SOLUTION: This method for producing the carbonized fiber fabric includes thermally carbonizing a woven fabric, a knitted fabric or a woven and knitted fabric composed of cellulosic fiber yarns as a raw material fiber fabric. The method includes charging the raw material fiber fabric in a heat-resistant cylinder in a wound state, surrounding the raw material fiber fabric by the cylinder in a semi-sealed state in an oxidizing atmosphere, heating the heat-resistant cylinder having the wound raw material fiber fabric charged therein in a heating oven, continuously heating to a final heating temperature range of 400-750°C, and then holding the fiber fabric at a final heating temperature for a prescribed time. PURPOSE: A method for stripping ramie by a chemical method is provided to fabricate a large mount of ramie spun yarn and to save the cost of ramie grey yarn. CONSTITUTION: A ramie is stripped by sodium chlorite or sodium hypochlorite. A method for stripping ramie comprises: a step of treating ramie with 23 weight% of sodium chlorite at 95 degrees Celsius for 40 minutes; and a step of washing at 60 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes and 20 degrees Celsius for 5 minutes three times. Formic acid is added at pH 3-4 in order for enough generation of chlorine dioxide and oxygen which are needed for stripping ramie.
