Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention provides a highly reliable display device. In particular, a display device to which a signal or a power supply potential can be supplied stably is provided. Further, a bendable display device to which a signal or a power supply potential can be supplied stably is provided. The display device includes, over a flexible substrate, a display portion, a plurality of connection terminals to which a signal from an outside can be input, and a plurality of wirings. One of the plurality of wirings electrically connects one of the plurality of connection terminals to the display portion. The one of the plurality of wirings includes a first portion including a plurality of separate lines and a second portion in which the plurality of lines converge.
Abstract:
It is an object of this invention to provide an FPC capable of improving tamper resistance. An FPC (1) of this invention includes: a signal line pattern (2) for inputting a communication signal; and signal protective line patterns (3, 4) provided to be opposed to an upper surface and a lower surface of the signal line pattern and having the same width as a width of the signal line pattern (2) or a larger width than the width of the signal line pattern (2). The signal protective line patterns are provided along the signal line pattern within a region that requires tamper resistance.
Abstract:
A flexible printed circuit connector structure and assembly method. A panel with a back side that is parallel to a first plane and a flexible printed circuit backer that has a base and a backing structure. The base is attached to the back side of the panel. The backing structure depends from the base and extends along a second plane that forms an angle with the first plane. A first flexible circuit side of the flexible printed circuit is attached to a first side and an opposite second side of the backing structure. The flexible printed circuit has exposed conductors on a second flexible circuit side that is opposite the first flexible circuit side.
Abstract:
An exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure includes a PCB mounted with an image sensor, a base installed at an upper surface of the PCB to centrally form an optical path, a lens holder coupled to an upper surface of the base to form an optical path by being mounted with at least one or more sheets of lenses, a variable lens arranged on the optical path centrally formed at the base to control a refractive index of passing light, and an infrared cut-off coating layer provided on a surface of the variable lens to filter an infrared component from the optical path-passing light.
Abstract:
A printed electrical circuit and methods for additively printing electrical circuits. Patterned layers of conductive, insulating, semi-conductive materials, and other materials are print deposited on a flexible or rigid substrate to form electrical circuits. A buffering layer is selectively deposited to cover or encapsulate these materials to comprise a comfort layer that provides a soft and comfortable interface to the skin of a wearer. The comfort layer can be selectively deposited on the same press that the conductive, insulating, semi-conductive materials, and other materials are deposited. Further, the comfort layer is selectively deposited only where it is desired and exactly where it is desired.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a flexible circuit electrode array adapted for neural stimulation, comprising: a polymer base layer; metal traces deposited on said polymer base layer, including electrodes suitable to stimulate neural tissue; a polymer top layer deposited on said polymer base layer and said metal traces at least one tack opening; wherein said polymer base layer, said metal traces and said polymer top layer are thermoformed in a three dimensional shape. The present invention provides further a method of making a flexible circuit electrode array comprising depositing a polymer base layer; depositing metal on said polymer base layer; patterning said metal to form metal traces; depositing a polymer top layer on said polymer base layer and said metal traces; preparing at least one tack opening; and heating said flexible circuit electrode array in a mold to form a three dimensional shape in said flexible circuit electrode array.
