    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sterilizing apparatus enabling uniform sterilization treatment by bringing seeds in a perforated basket into contact with hot water well.
    SOLUTION: This heat-sterilizing apparatus is constituted so that the seeds may be sterilized by soaking the perforated basket 3 storing the seeds to be sterilized in the hot water stored in a container. The heat-sterilizing apparatus has swinging arms 1 having the perforated basket 3 pivotally attached to each one terminal part with a swinging shaft 4, and turned around a turning shaft 2 at the other terminal parts to dislocate the perforated basket 3 in the container. The perforated basket 3 is inserted in the container storing the hot water and swung around the swinging shaft 4 through chain wheels 6, 7, 8 and a chain 9 at a prescribed swinging angle. As a result, disorder and various movement is imparted to the hot water in the container, and the contact of the seeds in the perforated basket with the hot water is evenly repeated to uniformly heat the seeds within a prescribed sterilization time.

    SOLUTION: According to the structure of the line thermal head 11, a plug connector 15 is arranged so as to erect perpendicularly to a surface opposite to a surface in which a heater 12 is present. The line thermal head 11 constitutes the printing device so as to be vertically moved with the surface including the heater 12 being laid as a bottom surface, and so as to extend cables 17 upward from a socket connector 16 connected to the plug connector 15. The plug connector 15 provided for the line thermal head 11 is housed in a line thermal head substrate, and therefore the printing device can have a compact structure.

    SOLUTION: The liquid filling apparatus for feeding the liquid accepted in a cylinder 2 to a filling container is equipped with a three-way valve 10 for switching the putting the liquid in/out of the cylinder 2. A check valve 31 which opens by a pressure of the fed liquid is provided at an inlet 30 where the liquid fed out of the cylinder 2 is poured into the filling container. The three-way valve 10 is set at the intermediate position where an entrance of the liquid into the cylinder 2 and an outlet of the liquid in the cylinder 2 are both open in an early stage of a step of feeding the liquid in the cylinder 2 to the filling container. The liquid in the cylinder 2 is pushed up to a predetermined position, and bubbles or the like on the upper surface of the liquid are discharged. Thereafter, the three-way valve is switched to feed the liquid in the cylinder 2 into the filling container.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging method and a packaging apparatus for packaging a thin, elongated, weak article such as malt into a state where the article is hard to break. SOLUTION: A bag-making device 1 forms a cylindrical body 5 for bag-making using a plastic film 4. A group of malt to be packaged is supplied from above an intermediate cylinder 3 of the bag-making device 1 to fill the cylindrical body 5, which is formed into a packaging bag containing the malt. As the malt comes out from the intermediate cylinder 3 and passes through the cylindrical body 5, the malt passes a passage that is enclosed with a shaking body 8 and has a flat section, where the shaking body 8 enclosing the passage is made to shake reciprocatively in the direction of the short side of the flat section by a shaker 9. The longitudinally aligned direction of the malt in the cylindrical body 5 is changed to a direction in which the malt does not jam in the flat passage as the malt passes through the shaking body 8, thus passing through the flat passage.
