Abstract: PURPOSE: A latch assembly for a door is provided to improve spatial efficiency because a latch structure and a switch unit are integrated. CONSTITUTION: A latch assembly for a door comprises a case(100), a cam(200), a guide lever(300), and a switch unit. The case has a hook insertion hole and a socket insertion hole(120) on an outer wall thereof, and an installation space is formed inside the case. The cam is elastically installed to rotate inside the case and formed with a guide unit(220), a pressing protrusion(230), and a hook locking hole(240) on the exterior thereof. The guide lever is selectively caught on the guide unit to selectively stop the rotation of the cam. The switch unit is selectively switched by the rotation of the cam.
