PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining device and a joining method, by which more excellent joining is conducted. SOLUTION: A joining device 10 has: a melting device, which comprises a laser unit 70 for melting solder balls B placed on electrodes E1, E2 of a work W, an optical fiber 68, and the like; and a nitrogen supply device 38 for supplying nitrogen, as an inert gas, to the periphery of the electrodes E1, E2. On the nitrogen supply device 38, a mesh member 134, which reduces the feeding speed of the nitrogen supplied, is set, and the nitrogen is supplied to the periphery of the electrodes E1, E2 through the mesh member 134. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an optical component and a manufacturing apparatus of the optical component by which the optical component can satisfactorily be positioned to a member to be joined and favorably be joined to the member to be joined, and also to provide a manufacturing method of a mold and a manufacturing apparatus of the mold by which the mold used for molding the optical component can be manufactured. SOLUTION: A molding apparatus 10 includes: a deformation step of bringing a photocurable resin into contact with a first transfer body 102 having a shape for forming an optical component part 404 and a convex part 406 at the photocurable resin and then deforming the photocurable resin after the first transfer body 102; a curing step of curing the deformed photocurable resin; and a separating step of separating the photocurable resin and the first transfer body 102 from each other. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for assembling, by which apparatus and method, assembling accuracy of components can be furthermore improved. SOLUTION: The apparatus for assembling comprises a positioning device 76 which pushes up a workpiece W from below in the direction of the gravity and carries out the positioning of the workpiece W in the direction of the gravity, a collet 36 which puts a component P on the workpiece W positioned by the positioning device 76 from above in the direction of the gravity, a measuring device for measuring the position of the workpiece W, and a control device for controlling the positioning device 76 based on the result measured by the measuring device.
