Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To put priority on conditions required to interlock with a transmission device over the conditions required by a driver, in order for attaining the smoothest gear shift. SOLUTION: The invention concerns a motor vehicle comprising a gearbox with automatic gear ratio shift, wherein a control unit 20 controls the engine running mode 10 on the basis of torque-requesting information coming from an accelerator pedal 24, and wherein the engine control is capable of being modified on the basis of data transmitted by a control unit 22 of the gearbox 16. The invention is characterized in that for certain operating phases of the vehicle, the gearbox 16 control unit 22 inhibits the action of the torque-requesting information whereto it substitutes an engine control command to which the control unit 20 is subordinated. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting a slippery ground surface, in a vehicle with an automatic speed-change mechanism. SOLUTION: This method includes a step of detecting at least one instantaneous running condition representing the presence or absence of a slippery ground surface, a step of generating a value representing the change in running conditions as a function of time by counting on the basis of on this detection, a step of comparing the value with reference conditions, and a step of determining whether or not the instantaneous running conditions correspond to a slippery ground surface, as a function of the result of the comparison.
