    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically actuate the light of a motor vehicle on the basis of the information concerning the actuation of a wiper by turning on the light of the motor vehicle after a second time when the wire is actuated at low speed and after a third time when the wire is actuated at high speed. SOLUTION: When a wire is working at low speed (S13), a processor analyzes the actuation of the wiper, and actuates the light of a motor vehicle (S12) when the wiper is actuated at low speed for a second time T2 (S14). When the response is negative (S13), the processor analyzes the actuation of the wiper of the windshield of the vehicle (S15), and analyzes and determines whether the wiper is actuated at high speed for a third time T3 (S15) before actuating the light of the motor vehicle (S12). The light of the motor vehicle is extinguished after a fourth time T4 after the final sweeping cycle (S7). This fourth time T4 is determined by, for example, timing means.

    Abstract: An assistance mechanism is provided, which is adapted to be coupled to a driven member capable of rotating alternately in both directions, in response to the rotation of a drive shaft. The assistance mechanism comprises a motor, a device for reducing the speed of the motor and at least one clutch actuated by a controller. The controller includes a part which is coaxial with the driven member and slides against a resilient return spring in relation to the amplitude and the direction of the torque applied by the drive shaft. Each clutch is mounted on a shaft of the device for reducing speed, which rotates faster than the driven member. The controller further comprises a connection between the sliding part and the clutches. This rotary assistance mechanism is particularly suitable for use in conjunction with vehicle steering mechanisms.
