PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify the presence of a traffic sign of a driver of a moving vehicle (for example, an automobile, a motorcycle, etc.) to be operated according to a content of the traffic sign. SOLUTION: To a pole 120 of a traffic sign 12, a traffic sign body 122, and a traffic sign signal transmission apparatus 2 configured to transmit a sign signal with predetermined electric power for notifying an automobile 10 to be driven by the driver according to a content of the traffic sign of the presence of the traffic sign 12 are attached. A sign notification apparatus is provided at the automobile 10. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hypervisor driver management in a virtual machine environment. SOLUTION: A technique for providing access to a physical resource in the virtual machine environment is provided. A virtual machine may access the physical resource by using a device driver being divided. After monitoring the performance of device drivers operating in the virtual machine, such a device driver as its performance has degraded or such a device driver whose rate of context switch is high is discriminated. Such device drivers are dynamically adapted to parts executed in a reliable domain and in a non-reliable domain. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new framework that flexibly takes images of a moving target in remote monitoring without the need to arrange a plurality of network cameras. SOLUTION: An autonomously movable moving body is used to take an image of a photographic target in accordance with a request from a user terminal, and the photographic image is provided to the user terminal. The moving body includes: a position estimating part that obtains, from a wireless tag reader, a radio field intensity of wireless communication with a wireless tag held by the photographic target to estimate a position of the photographic target based on the obtained radio field intensity; a movement control part that controls the movement of the moving body so that the moving body moves to the estimated position as a destination; and an imaging unit that takes an image of the photographic target when the moving body is located near the destination, associates the photographic image with a wireless tag ID designated by the request, and transmits the photographic image to an apparatus outside the moving body. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical circuit device capable of selectively controlling the refractive index of a waveguide by an optical signal. SOLUTION: Techniques are generally disclosed for optical devices that may be used to implement a variety of logic devices or other circuits by optical means. Example optical devices use a photodiode to alter the charge carrier concentration in a waveguide, thereby altering the index of refraction of the waveguide. The photodiode may be driven by an optical signal, which may be coupled to the photodiode through an optical waveguide. The optical signal may be configured to control the phase of coherent light coupled through the waveguide. A variety of logic devices and other circuits may be implemented by allowing the light coupled through the waveguide to constructively or destructively interfere with other coherent light. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fingerprint authentication device and a fingerprint authentication method capable of preventing viral or bacterial infection and performing fingerprint authentication quickly and accurately.SOLUTION: A fingerprint authentication device comprises: a mounting part 20 on which a finger is mounted; an image acquisition part 40 which is arranged below the mounting part 20 and authenticates a fingerprint of the finger mounted on the mounting part 20; a finger sensor 61 which detects whether or not the finger is mounted on the mounting part 20; and an ultraviolet ray irradiation lamp 62B which is arranged above the mounting part 20 and irradiates the mounting part 20 with ultraviolet rays. The ultraviolet ray irradiation lamp 62B irradiates the mounting part 20 with the ultraviolet rays at a time when the finger sensor 61 does not detect a finger.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery system capable of preventing a burst of a battery, and to provide a safety alarm system of the battery.SOLUTION: The battery system includes a lithium ion battery 2 of cylindrical shape containing an organic electrolytic solution as an electrolyte, a laser light source 3 to emit a laser beam, an optical fiber 4 of a single mode which is wound around the outer circumference of the lithium ion battery 2 in a plurality of lines and via which the laser beam emitted from the light source 3 is transmitted, a detector 6 which receives the laser beam transmitted via the optical fibers 4 and detects abnormality of the lithium ion battery 2 based on loss or temporal change of the loss of the laser beam caused in the optical fiber 4, and an alarm 7 which gives a warning of the abnormality when the abnormality of the lithium ion battery 2 is detected by the detector 6.
