PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit for evaluating material strength of a thin metal plate, the unit being suitable for high-temperature creep test or tensile test of a thin metal plate.SOLUTION: A unit 1 for evaluating high-temperature creep strength comprises a tabular test piece 2 and a pair of fixing jigs 3 for attaching the test piece 2 to a chuck of a test device. The thin test piece 2 and the jigs 3 are configured to be integrally fixed by a fixing pin 4. The test piece 2 has shoulders 22 fitted to and stored in shoulder fitting grooves 34 of the jigs 3 and has a parallel part 21 partially fitted to and stored in a slit 33. In this state, the fixing pin 4 is inserted to a through hole 25 to have the position fixed, whereby the unit 1 for evaluation is configured. Next, the unit 1 is erected, and upper and lower ends of a grip 31 is engaged with and fixed to a pull rod 5 of the test device. Further, ring-shaped projections 35 of the upper and lower jigs 3 are fixed to an upper jig 6a and a lower jig 6b of a jig 6 for measurement, respectively. After the completion of attachment, the parallel part 21 in the unit 1 is stored in an electric oven 7.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal electrode having stable flat band voltage and provide a semiconductor element using the metal electrode.SOLUTION: A metal electrode is used with a semiconductor as a pair across a high-dielectric thin film 9. The metal electrode 13 includes a metal film 11 formed by a first electrode material and a characteristic control film 10 containing Mo of 3 mol%-40 mol% and Ru of 60 mol%-90 mol%. The characteristic control film 10 is formed between the high-dielectric thin film 9 and the metal film 11. On a boundary face between the high-dielectric thin film 9 and the characteristic control film 10, a Mo oxide film is formed. With this configuration, flat band voltage is stabilized.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray imaging apparatus which is capable of imaging structural difference in a depth direction of a thin film and a multilayer film in the same material even by a normal X-ray detector which does not have position resolution and can obtain only intensity information.SOLUTION: The X-ray imaging apparatus includes: an X-ray detector 3 which adjusts a tilt angle of an in-plane rotating stage 4 relative to a linear X-ray beam to measure an integrated intensity of X rays passing a Hadamard mask 10 in which many apertures for a spatial resolution to be obtained are arranged according to encoding rules, of the X-ray beam reflected on a sample 2: and an imaging operation unit which subjects time-series data of the integrated intensity acquired by scanning of the Hadamard mask 10 to inverse conversion for encoding to acquire a one-dimensional intensity profile of reflected X rays and performs image re-construction operation of data integrated by repeating the measurement at respective in-plane rotation angles.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode catalyst for an oxygen electrode that realizes a solid oxide type steam electrolytic cell (SOEC) that exerts high performance in a low temperature region of at most 500°C.SOLUTION: A material in which a Pt particle in which a boundary face with CeOis formed on a surface is mixed with a GDC particle is used as an electrode catalyst for an oxygen electrode to avoid lowering of an oxygen evolution reaction (OER) activity of SOEC in a low temperature region.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave resonator using a surface wave, which can apply a voltage to a positive dielectric thin film provided between a first negative dielectric and a second negative dielectric, a manufacturing method of the same, an electromagnetic wave generating element, and a manufacturing method of the same.SOLUTION: The electromagnetic wave resonator comprises a first negative dielectric 101, a positive dielectric thin film 103 and a substantially band-like second negative dielectric 102. The positive dielectric thin film 103 has a thickness less than [0.5×λ]/[refractive index n of the positive dielectric thin film]. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve increase in the volume of a microgravity area by a simple configuration, in a magnetic force field generator for generating a microgravity area by disposing ferromagnetic bodies or rings or discs of permanent magnet at positions coaxial with the central axis of hollow interior of a superconductive magnet.SOLUTION: At the positions described above, three rings are disposed while being staggered in the vertical direction. A uniform and strong magnetic field is thereby generated in a doughnut-shaped area surrounded by these rings, and a microgravity area can be obtained there. In a conventional configuration, only a localized microgravity area is obtained around the central axis, but the capacity can be increased according to the invention because of the doughnut-shaped microgravity area.
