PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for scanning a working surface to determine its suitability for use of an optical mouse and informing a user of a determination result in real time, in order to solve problems with the prior art. SOLUTION: The method comprises steps of (a) using an optical sensor to sense optical characteristics of the working surface, (b) using a decision circuit to decide the suitability of the working surface for use of the optical mouse according to the optical characteristics sensed by the optical sensor, (c) using the decision circuit to generate a decision signal according to the decision result obtained in step (b), and so on. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure an orthogonal state between a photosensitive surface of a photoelectric conversion device and an optical central line of a carriage module housing in a fixing apparatus. SOLUTION: The fixing apparatus is applied between the photoelectric conversion device and the module housing, and the photoelectric conversion device is fixedly mounted on a circuit board. The fixing apparatus consists of holding parts which fixedly mount the photoelectric conversion device, form a workpiece together with the photoelectric conversion device, and are provided with at least one fixing hole, and of at least one fixing parts which bring the carriage module housing into a contact with a workpiece thereon to secure the orthogonal state between the photosensitive surface of the photoelectric conversion device and the optical central line of the carriage module housing by clamping the carriage module housing while penetrating the fixing hole in contact with the carriage module housing thereon. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a belt tension without using metallic spring pieces or the like to be attached later nor interfering with a carriage module, in one kind of a flat bed type scanner and a scanning module therein. SOLUTION: The scanner includes a driving motor, a belt, and the scanning module, and an elastic material is installed on the enclosure of the scanning module, and the top part of the elastic material is brought into contact with the belt to increase the tension of the belt. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power source plug for a vehicle capable of easily adjusting the length in simple mechanism. SOLUTION: A columnar set component 42 having a small aperture is connected to a body part of a plug terminal 41 to be inserted into an inserting port of a cigarette igniter, a columnar set component 43 having a large aperture is connected to a connecting end 44 of an electric apparatus for a vehicle. One through hole 421 is formed in the radial direction of the columnar set component 42, one compression spring 451 is inserted into the through hole 421, and a ball 452 is installed at each of both ends of the spring 451. The balls 452 placed on the inside of the through hole 421 are slightly exposed from the openings at both ends of the through hole 421, and when the columnar set component 43 comprising two half cylinder pieces 431, 432 is set on the columnar set component 42 from the both sides, the slightly exposed balls are meshed with recessed holes 46 of the half cylinder pieces 431, 432 and the length can be selected.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, as a first object, a simplified optical system of an optical mouse. SOLUTION: This invented optical mouse has a housing of a bottom part of a solid construction, a lens set component and a circuit board for a control circuit. The housing of the bottom part has a base for an opening and a light source. The lens set component is placed on the opening. The circuit board has the light source and the light source that are attached thereon. The circuit board is fixed on the lens set component and inside the housing of the bottom part, and assists to fix the lens set component in the housing of the bottom part. The light source is disposed in the base for the light source. The base for the light source assists to determine the directional angle of the light source in the housing of the bottom part, so that the light beam from the light source passes through the opening and is pointed to the surface on which the optical mouse slides. The light beam reflected from the surface passes through the lens set component and arrives at the photo sensor.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photodetector having a tubular module provided with a shaft perpendicular to a circuit board in order to reduce a required space substantially. SOLUTION: The photodetector comprises a tubular module 34 including a tubular panel 50 having a plurality of positioning holes made around the periphery and a central shaft for rotating the panel 50, a circuit board 32 mounting a light source and a sensor for detecting light from the light source passing through the positioning hole 54 and generating a displacement signal, and means for mounting the tubular module 34 rotatably on the circuit board 32 having the shaft perpendicular thereto and the panel 50 arranged rotatably between the light source and the sensor. When the tubular module 34 is turned by the shaft, the positioning holes 54 of the module 34 pass over the light source and the sensor to generate a displacement signal and rotation of the module 34 is calculated from the displacement signal.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless charging transmission device having a dustproof function and a waterproof function.SOLUTION: The wireless charging transmission device includes: a circuit board; a heat sink; a closed type transmission coil; and a sealing layer. The closed type transmission coil is provided on the heat sink and the heat sink is provided on the circuit board. The sealing layer coats the circuit board, the heat sink, and the closed type transmission coil therein. The sealing layer is formed so as not to form a gap therein and prevents dust and a liquid coming from the exterior from entering thereinto. Meanwhile, a part of the heat sink extends from the sealing layer, is exposed to the exterior of the sealing layer, and improves the heat radiation effect of the wireless charging transmission device.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device and an input device, having light emission patterns in a plurality of layers, capable of reducing a volume and a manufacturing cost of the device.SOLUTION: A display device and an input device include an input interface, a first light emitting device for emitting a first beam, a first light guide plate, a second light emitting device for emitting a second beam, a second light guide plate, a first circuit board, and a second circuit board. The input interface is stacked on the first light guide plate. The first light guide plate is stacked on the second light guide plate. Both ends of the first light guide plate and the second light guide plate form a first space and a second space, respectively. The first circuit board and the second circuit board are placed in the first space and the second space, respectively, so as to block the first beam and the second beam.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminous keyboard with enhanced light utilization efficiency.SOLUTION: A luminous keyboard includes: a light emitting element; a thin film circuit substrate; a key base plate; and a plurality of keys. The thin film circuit substrate includes an upper layer plate and a lower layer plate, the lower layer plate and the upper layer plate have a first circuit pattern and a second circuit pattern which form a plurality of thin film switches, respectively, and the lower layer plate further includes a plurality of thin films for increasing the light guiding efficacy of the lower layer plate. Moreover, the keys are connected to the key base plate, and the key base plate is arranged between the keys and the thin film circuit substrate.
