    Abstract: PURPOSE: To seal a clearance between a flange of a vehicle and a panel member more satisfactorily by providing a sealing means sealing the clearance between them with a position change member consisting of a substantially round reinforcing cord in a weather seal to be secured on the flange of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A weather seal 12 mounted on a flange 18 provided along a peripheral fringe part of a door opening 14 of an automobile has a metallic core member 22 having substantially U-shaped cross section so as to form a groove 24 and an outer sking 26 surrounding this core member 22, and a plurality of restraint members 28, 30 protruding in the groove 24 are provided on the outer skin 26. An archlike trim blade 32 is provided and protrudes on an outer face on one side of the outer skin 26, and a blade position change member 36 is provided below this trim blade 32 and on an outer face of the outer skin 26. This change member 36 includes a substantially round reinforcing cord 38 along the direction of its length to seal a clearance between the trim blade 32 and a panel member by pulling it outward in the direction of the trim blade 32 in a sticking out part thereof.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a decoration molding for a vehicle without having a joint line or a marking line but having high decorative effect by forming an outer layer comprising polymer material on the outer surface side of a core member by injection molding to fill a gap between a bright zone of the core member and a core member outer surface, and cover both end surfaces of length of a core part. CONSTITUTION: A core member 22 formed by extrusion molding and cutting of polymer material is inserted into a die, thermoplastic material is injection- molded to the outer surface side of the core member 22 in a normal method to form a desirable outer surface, and a cap part 34 to cover end parts 30, 32 is formed simultaneously. A smoothly continuous outer surface can thus be provided between the end parts 30, 32, and a marking line or a joint line between the core member and an end covering cap are not formed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To apply colors to a curtain wall structure by providing lug members coupled with the coupling cavities of gasket strips on the inner faces of cap strips covering the gasket strips, and forming thin-layer paint films on the outer faces of the cap strips. CONSTITUTION: A horizontal gasket strip 18 and a vertical gasket strip 20 fixing a glass plate 22 are connected at the crossing portion of them. A color can be applied to a curtain wall structure using elastic gaskets.

CONSTITUTION: This trim molding 10 used as a bumper belt piece of an automobile has a base stand member 12 composed of a polymer material having the arch-shaped part 14, and also has a bright extruded molding product or a film insert 18 arranged along the arch-shaped part 14. This insert 18 is formed of a first film 20 having the metallized thin bright surface and a second film 22 composed of a transparent plastic material attached to the film 20 to prevent this film 20 from contacting with a pollutant. This trim molding 10 is manufactured by molding the base stand member 12 over the whole surface on one surface side of the films 20 and 22.
