PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing paper mulberry extract is provided to improve whitening, anti-aging, anti-wrinkling, moisturizing, and elasticity. CONSTITUTION: A paper mulberry extract is prepared from roots, leaves, flowers, or fruits of paper mulberry by ultra high pressure or supercritical or oil extraction. The ultra high pressure is treated at 70~200 Mp for 1-15 minutes. The supercritical fluid is carbon dioxide, nitrogen, nitrous oxide, methane, ethylene, propane, or propylene. The oil extraction is treated at 40-70°C and 2-10 pressure for 2-12 hours by adding cooking oil. The cooking oil is soybean oil or sesame oil. A cosmetic composition contains the paper mulberry extract.

The cosmetic composition is used in the form of toner, emulsion, essence, cleansing cream, BB cream, foundation, or pack.

PURPOSE: A composition containing green tea polysaccharide for preventing oral bacteria is provided to minimize side effects and to apply to food, medicinal product, and cosmetic industry. CONSTITUTION: A composition for suppressing oral bacteria contains green tea polysaccharide as an active ingredient. A method for producing the green tea polysaccharide comprises: a step of removing chlorophyll and polyphenol of low molecular weight using solvent; a step of performing hot water extraction of water soluble active ingredient from green tea residue; and a step of isolating green tea polysaccharide through ultrafiltration and ethanol precipitation from the extract. The oral bacteria are Streptococcus mutans or Prevotella intermedia. The composition is temperature sensitive sol-gel phase transitional oral formulation.

PURPOSE: A method for preparing a surface modified pigment and a surface modified pigment prepared by the method are provided, to obtain an inorganic or organic pigment whose surface is modified with a water repellent thin film. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of pulverizing a pigment to be surface modified into a uniform size; gas phase adsorbing a surface modification material to the surface of the pulverized pigment to modify the surface; and optionally re-modifying the surface by using a compound having a double bond. The first surface modification is carried out by using an alkyl silane-based compound having a low boiling point. Preferably the alkyl silane-based compound is at least one selected from the group consisting of trimethylsiloxy silicate, methyl hydrogen polysiloxane, hexamethyl cyclotrisiloxane, octamethyl polysiloxane, methyl cyclopolysiloxane, octamethyl cyclotetrasiloxane, decamethyl cyclopentasiloxane and tetradecamethyl cycloheptasiloxane.
