Abstract: The present invention relates to an energy storage system using a lithium-ion polymer battery, which can maximize utilization of electricity by charging the lithium-ion polymer battery with a commercial AC power source and the like when demand for solar power, wind power, or electricity is low and supplying the power stored in the lithium-ion polymer battery at peak times with high demand for electricity or in a case of an emergency. The energy storage system using a lithium-ion polymer battery comprises: a battery part (110) having the lithium-ion polymer battery charged by power supplied from the outside and discharging the power to supply electricity to load equipment; an input/output part (140) manipulating and displaying an operation environment of the battery part (110); and a control part (120) having a data communication module to receive a remote control command from the outside, and controlling an operation of the battery part (110) according to the operation environment set by the input/output part (140). The energy storage system is made using the lithium-ion polymer battery with a high energy density, thereby improving efficiency in energy storage. Also, the power stored in the lithium-ion polymer battery can be flexibly supplied to loads through remote control at peak times with high demand for electricity.
