The present invention relates to a storage device including a semiconductor memory and more particularly, to a storage device including a variable resistance memory. A storage device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a nonvolatile memory device including a variable resistance memory; and a controller configured to control the nonvolatile memory device to store booting information in the variable resistance memory, wherein the controller selectively performs a warm booting operation using the booting information stored in the variable resistance memory, based on a comparison result between a booting setting condition and a rebooting condition during rebooting. The storage device according to an embodiment of the present invention can quickly perform a booting operation by supporting the warm booting operation.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A hybrid memory device, a system including the same, and a method for reading and writing data in the hybrid memory device are provided to reduce power consumption by rapidly reading and writing the data. CONSTITUTION: A hybrid memory device includes a DRAM(126), a nonvolatile memory(127), and a control circuit(121). The control circuit selects one of output data from the DRAM and output data from the nonvolatile memory in response to a mode selection signal and outputs the selected output data. If the requested output data exists in the DRAM, the control circuit outputs the requested output data from the DRAM. If the requested output data does not exist in the DRAM, the control circuit outputs the requested output data from the nonvolatile memory.
