Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for providing a service of an MSC(Mobile Switching Center) to get back a lost MS(Mobile Station) is provided to furnish an owner of the lost MS with loss information, such as location data, remaining battery capacity data and the last originated number of the lost MS, so as to get back the lost MS more quickly. CONSTITUTION: An owner of a lost MS reports the loss(20). An MSC cuts off an originating call of the MS(22). The MSC transmits a paging signal to the MS(24).
