PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for transmitting/receiving data are provided to transmit data including data stream in order to includes segment information of a frequency zone in a broadcasting system. CONSTITUTION: A TIF(Time Interleaving Frame) separation and FIZ(Frequency Interleaving Zone) mapping block(440) segments a data section for transferring data stream to a plurality of frequency zones. The TIF separation and FIZ mapping block maps the data stream to one frequency zone. A signal generation block(450) transmits signaling information. An OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) generating unit(480) maps the data stream and signaling information to an OFDM resource.

PURPOSE: A data stream transmission and reception method and a device thereof are provided to execute a mapping for logical channels of additional physical layer slots according to the construction of a logical channel defined as a single input or multiple input encoding methods. CONSTITUTION: A reception unit receives data streams. A control unit maps the received data streams on an additional physical slot. The control unit constructs one or more frames including the additional physical slot. A transmission unit transmits the one or more frames through one or more wireless frequencies. The additional physical slot includes bit information which indicates the number of antennas transmitting the one or more frames. PURPOSE: A method for encoding control information in a communication system and an apparatus and a method for transceiving control information are provided to perform efficient change of control information when a transmitter performs encoding. CONSTITUTION: A transmission apparatus generates signaling information(1000). The transmission apparatus determines the number of encoding blocks in consideration of encoding unit and a bit number of the signaling information(1004). The transmission apparatus configures input information bits of the encoding block to include the signaling information(1006,1008). The transmission apparatus encodes the input information bits of the encoding block into each encoded block(1010). PURPOSE: A data stream transmission and reception apparatus in a wireless system and method thereof are provided to solve multiplexing gain restriction problems by transmitting one or more frames through one or more wireless frequencies. CONSTITUTION: A first gateway maps data streams to one or more logical channels. The logical channels are composed of one or more logical frames. One or more first modulators create data included in each physical slot based on the logical channels. A physical slot agent distributes the data included in each physical slot to one or more second modulators. The second modulators transmit the frames including the distributed physical slot data by modulating the frames.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A signaling for the digital broadcasting system is provided to transmit a preamble transferring a signaling information word in a wider frequency bandwidth than each frequency section. CONSTITUTION: A data section transfers mapped data streams. A preamble transfers signaling information to receive the data streams. The data streams are mapped in frequency sections(3a-3c). One data stream is mapped in a single frequency section. Signaling information word is transferred by a preamble section of at least a first frame in a superframe.

PURPOSE: A signaling method in a digital wireless system and a device thereof are provided to solidly realize initial scan, service connectivity, zapping, and update. CONSTITUTION: A data section of a frame(4c) includes signaling information connected with a frame(4e). If an error exists in the data section of the frame(4c), a receiver receives a next frame which can be used together with OB(Out-of-Band) signaling information in a preamble of the frame(4e) to receive data from the frame(4e). The receiver receives sufficient warnings for receiving priority bits from an AP(Additional Parity) section of a frame(4d).
