    Abstract: PURPOSE: A device for aligning optical source-optical fiber of an optical source module is provided to minimize the thermal deformation and residual stress due to welding between an optical fiber ferrule and a saddle, and to be capable of maintaining a high efficiency without a re-alignment process after the primary alignment between an optical source and an optical fiber. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises a substrate, optical fibers, an optical fiber ferrule and a saddle for fixing the ferrule. The saddle(500) comprises a pair of bases(510) spaced to each other for inserting the optical fiber ferule(160). Sub ribs(520) are upwardly extended from the internal sides of the bases, respectively. Center ribs(530) are upwardly extended from the centers of the sub ribs, respectively. Arms(540) are respectively projected from the center ribs along the lengthwise directions of the ferrule, and have junctions with the ferrule on respective ends. Reinforcement parts(550) are respectively extended from the connection portions between the center ribs and arms.
