Abstract: A source driver, a method for controlling a clock signal of the source driver, and a display device having the same are provided to reduce power consumption of the display device by preventing clock signals of the source drivers that are not in operation, from being driven by operating the clock signals only at a desired timing. A display device includes a panel(400); a timing controller(100) for outputting a clock signal(Clock) and an operation start signal; and a driving unit for driving the panel by receiving the clock signal and the operation start signal. The driving unit comprises plural source drivers(210~2n0). Each source driver enables or disables the internal clock signal of the source driver in response to the operation start signal output from the previous source driver.
