Abstract:
PURPOSE: A hole switch in a wireless terminal is provided to adjust the sensitivity of a switch, without the necessity of changing magnets or adjusting the distance between a magnet and a magnetic substance, in case that the model of a switch in a folder-type or flip-type terminal is changed. CONSTITUTION: A magnet(110) generates a uniform magnetic field as the distance with a hole sensor(120) gets changed by the opening and shutting of a flip. The hole sensor(120) generates a voltage according to the intensity of the magnetic field inputted in proportion to the distance with the magnet(110). The voltage generated from the hole sensor(120) is inputted to the amplifier(130). The amplifier(130) amplifies and outputs the voltage generated from the hole sensor(120). The comparator(140) compares the signal outputted from the amplifier(130) with a reference voltage and generates a low or high signal. A variable power part(100) generates the reference voltage and outputs it to the comparator(140).

PURPOSE: A method for controlling a memory in a mobile communication terminal is provided to reduce time required for downloading data to a mobile communication terminal from a host computer by erasing data while receiving data from the host computer. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal is turned on so that a control unit initializes a state of the mobile terminal(300). It is judged whether a PC(Personal Computer) requests transmission of data to the mobile terminal(302). If so, the control unit controls to erase data of the first block of a flash memory(304). The control unit confirms whether the erasing action is continued(306). If not, the control unit examines whether data of all blocks of the flash memory are erased(308). If not, the erasing mode is executed to erase data of the next block(310). The control unit examines whether a buffer receives data completely(312). The control unit examines whether the erasing mode is completed(314). If not, the control unit stops the erasing mode(316). The control unit stores program data temporarily stored in the buffer in the flash memory(318). The control unit examines whether all program data to be stored on the flash memory are stored(320). If not, the control unit examines whether the erasing mode is in a stop state(322). If so, the control unit controls to execute the erasing mode to erase data of the flash memory(324).
Abstract:
PURPOSE: An apparatus for connecting key patterns of a metal dome switch is provided to improve a switch performance of a metal dome by forming the connecting patterns at a main board and a flexible PCB, respectively without using a side key connection unit. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for connecting key patterns of a metal dome switch comprises a column side first contact unit, a row side second contact unit, a plurality of metal dome keys(300), and a flexible circuit(400). The column side first contact unit is electrically connected to columns by a main connecting pattern on a main board(2). The row side second contact unit is electrically connected to rows by the main connecting pattern on the main board. The metal dome keys are provided on the top surface of the contact units. The flexible circuit includes a plurality of connecting patterns in such a manner that the flexible circuit contacts to the metal dome keys connected to the columns and the metal dome keys connected to the rows.

PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling power and signals in an electronic equipment having a control unit and a subordinate module is provided to reduce a leakage current generated in an apparatus for controlling power and signals, thereby reducing power consumption and increasing time of using batteries. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(2) and a subordinate module(4) are connected by a signal control line(6) applying an operation control signal to the subordinate module(4) and a power control line(8) applying a power control signal. Resistances let a rate current flow through the signal control line(6) in the state that the subordinate module(4) is turned on, while minimizing a leakage current. Capacitances are connected with the signal control line and have capacitance existing on the signal control line and existing inside the subordinate module(4). A residual current component removing circuit(12) discharges residual current components charged in the capacitors to prevent distortion of the signals applied from the control unit(2) to the subordinate module(4).

PURPOSE: A circuit for processing a wrong operation of a hall effect switch used for recognizing flip or folder open/shut states of a terminal and a method therefor are provided to enable the terminal not to recognize that a flip or a folder is closed, though an output of the hall effect switch is changed by being influenced from a current, thereby removing possibility of cutting off a call. CONSTITUTION: A hall effect switch output end(300) senses a magnetic field change, and outputs the first state or the second state signal presenting open/shut states of a flip or a folder. A flip/folder state input end(310) transmits the first state or the second state signal to a controller of a terminal. The first pull-up resistor(R1) is connected to a contact point of the output end(300) and the input end(310). A ripple removing capacitor(C1) is connected to the contact point. One end of the second resistor(R2) is connected to the output end(300), and the other end thereof is connected to a contact point of the first resistor(R1) and the capacitor(C1).

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for charging a rechargeable battery are provided to prevent damage of the battery by controlling the amount of the current being supplied to each battery in accordance with the current voltage of each battery. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a voltage detection unit for detecting the current charging voltage values of each of rechargeable batteries; a plurality of charging current output units(30,40,50) for outputting charging current to each rechargeable battery; and a control unit(10) for comparing the current charging voltage values of each of rechargeable batteries, and controlling the charging current output units in such a manner that the rechargeable battery with smaller charging voltage is supplied with relatively more charging current than the rechargeable battery with larger charging voltage.

본 고안은 달링톤 회로의 전압 손실 최소화 회로에 관한 것으로서, 특히 달링톤 회로의 전류 이득을 유지하며 턴온 전압 손실을 최소화한 회로에 관한 것이다. 본 고안은 제 1, 제 2 두 개의 npn 쌍극 접합 트랜지스터를 구비하는 달링톤 회로의 전압 손실 최소화 회로에 있어서, 상기 제 1 쌍극 접합 트랜지스터의 베이스 단자와 콜렉터 단자를 전원 단자에 접속하고, 상기 제 1 쌍극 접합 트랜지스터의 에미터 단자를 상기 제 2 쌍극 접합 트랜지스터의 베이스 단자에 접속하고, 상기 제 2 쌍극 접합 트랜지스터의 에미터 단자를 접지하고, 상기 제 2 쌍극 접합 트랜지스터의 콜렉터 단자를 상기 제 1 쌍극 접합 트랜지스터의 에미터 단자와 접속 분리한 구조를 포함하여 구성한다.
