    Abstract: A toner for electrophotography is provided to prevent offset and have paper separation ability, polishability and durability. A toner for electrophotography comprises a binder resin, coloring agent and release agent. The toner has the angular velocity of 1.6-10 rad/s, temperature range of 120-160 ‹C, complex viscosity of 4e2 - 8e3 PaÀs, variation of complex viscosity of 1.6 rad/s and variation of stress relaxation of 785-1000 Pa/‹C at 0.05 second and 190-215 Pa/‹C at 0.3 second.

    Abstract: An electrophotographic toner, an imaging method using the toner, and an imaging apparatus containing the toner are provided to improve the mechanical properties at a room temperature and to enhance development and fixation. An electrophotographic toner comprises a binder resin; a colorant; a charge control agent; and a releasing agent, wherein the toner has a glass transition temperature more than 55 deg.C, a weight average molecular weight of 45,000-55,000, a distribution of molecular weight of 4.5-5.5, and a room temperature compressive modulus of 750 MPa or more. Preferably the toner has a complex viscosity(eta) of 3.5x10^2 - 4.5x10^2 Pa.s to at a temperature lower than the fixation temperature of a toner by 10 deg.C.

    Abstract: A fusing unit for an imaging apparatus is provided to increase fusing temperature although the same power is supplied and minimize energy loss. The first fusing roller(110) includes a magnetic core(111), an induction coil(113) and a heating body(113). The induction coil(113), disposed in the magnetic core(111), interacts with the magnetic core(111) according as power is supplied and generates induced electromotive force. The heating body(113) is disposed in the induction coil(113) and is heated by magnetic flux which leaks from the induction coil(113) to the inside. The second fusing roller(130) is contacted and rotated with the first fusing roller(110) and is heated by the induced electromotive force generated in the first fusing roller(110). The second fusing roller(130) fuses an image on a printing medium.

An outer insulating layer(13) and an inner insulating layer(15) do not cause a dielectric breakdown by the AC inputted to the heating coil, and insulate the heating coil so that a leakage current cannot flow to the conductive pipe or a core pipe(16).
