Abstract: PURPOSE: A pick-up roller and an image forming apparatus including the same are provided to induce the uniform pressurized distribution of the paper contact part of a pick-up layer. CONSTITUTION: A support layer(122) is supported to a shaft(121). A base(123) covers the outer circumference of the support layer in a predetermined thickness. A pick-up layer(125) is formed with a plurality of dispersion bodies(124) dispersed to the base. The shaft of a pick-up roller(120) is installed in a main body to rotate thereon. The base is formed with materials having abrasion resistance and enough surface friction. A functional end group is created on the surface of the plurality of dispersion bodies in a surface reforming method.
