Abstract: PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for transferring data using a USB(Universal Serial Bus) are provided to increase a transmission speed thereof by storing data at a memory and not reading the data when storing the data through the USB. CONSTITUTION: A data transfer controller(111) includes an OS(Operating System), and downloads data from a USB host(110). An external storage controller(115) stores the downloaded data to an external storage device(140). A bus directly connects the downloaded data to the external storage device controller. The OS comprises a file system which manages the storage of the downloaded data to the external storage device.
