    Abstract: PURPOSE: An organic electrolyte for a redox flow battery is provided to have a high energy density by increasing a solubility of the electrolyte. CONSTITUTION: An organic electrolyte comprises: a solvent; an electrolyte which consists of a metal-ligand coordination compound; and a polymeric compound which has metal affinity group as an additive. The additive is included as a quantity of 1-15 volume % of the organic electrolyte.
