Abstract:
PURPOSE: An image restoration apparatus restricting a reference image region, and a method thereof are provided to clearly restore a user-desirable image by using a reference image region including the image most similar to the image which is supposed to be restored. CONSTITUTION: A target region setting unit(300) sets up a target image region which is supposed to be restored according to an image restoration request, and a peripheral region setting unit(310) sets up a peripheral image region of a preset size including the set target image region. A similar region division unit(320) groups similar pixels within the set peripheral image region to set the grouped pixels into similar image regions. A reference region setting unit(330) divides the target image region according to the similar image region, and a restoration processing unit(340) detects and copies the image of an image region most similar to the target image region.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A face recognizing method is provided to extract various features from photographed user faces, thereby accurately recognizing the face of a user. CONSTITUTION: A photographed pose of a face in a frame is classified in a frame which is a target of face recognition(S21,S22). A face in the same direction as the classified face is compared with photographed frames(S23). Mirroring of a frame including the classified face is performed when the face in the same direction as the classified face does not exist in another frame(S26). An image processed through the mirroring process is compared with a database to recognize a face(S25).
Abstract:
A portable terminal and a method for editing an image are provided, which make the image that a user wants displayed on the portable terminal. A method for editing an image is as follows. If the image processed as the mosaic image is selected, the selected image is divided into the block image(330). The divided block image color mean value is produced. It determines whether the high position mosaic image for producing the mosaic image is selected or not. In the selected high position mosaic image, the mosaic image corresponding to the calculated color mean value is searched(350). The block image is replaced with the searched mosaic image and the mosaic image is indicated(355,360).
Abstract:
A method for removing staff lines from a music score image is provided to recognize a music score accurately by removing staff lines from a music score image photographed in a cellular phone without compensating the additional inclination of the staff lines that requires many calculations. It is detected that a region where staff lines exit from an image including a music score(100,200), and the staff lines which are extended continuously in their lengths are split into several regions by considering the inclination of the staff lines(300). The each line of the staff line included at the music score is estimated at the split regions by analyzing a histogram(400). Based on the estimated staff line, the each line of the staff line included the music score is extracted(500). The extracted each line of the staff line is removed from the music score(600). When detecting the region where the staff line exist, the histogram is calculated and the distribution of the histogram is checked.

디스플레이장치가개시된다. 디스플레이장치는디스플레이부, 디스플레이부에대한터치입력을감지하기위한감지부, 사용자시선방향을감지하는시선방향감지부및 디스플레이부의화면을복수의영역으로구분하여복수의영역중 하나인제1 영역을향하는사용자시선이감지되고, 제1 영역에대해서는제1 터치입력이감지되면, 제1 터치입력에대응되는제1 제어동작을수행하고, 제1 영역을제외한나머지영역에대해서제2 터치입력이감지되면, 제2 터치입력에대응되는제2 제어동작을비수행하는제어부를포함한다. 이에따라, 시선이감지되는영역과감지되지않는영역에따라기능의수행여부를설정할수 있고, 이에따라디스플레이장치의오동작을방지할수 있다.
