Abstract: PURPOSE: A method of analysis for an efficiency of a css system using an overlap method is provided to use easily the induced BER(Bit Error Rate) formulation using two EDC(Exponentially Decreasing Cosine) formulations with short length instead of one EDC formulation with long length. CONSTITUTION: A CSS system models a transmission signal which is overlapped. The css system models the overlapped received signal which passed through a channel. The down-chirp filter output signal of the overlapped received signal is modeled in the CSS system. The CSS system induces the closed BER formulation.
