    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for dispersing carbon nanotubes, an apparatus for dispersing the carbon nanotubes, and dispersed carbon nanotubes are provided to efficiency disperse carbon nanotube aggregate by applying magnetic field to the carbon nanotube aggregate and a magnetic substance which are chemically bonded. CONSTITUTION: Carbon nanotube aggregate(10) is chemically bonded with a magnetic substance(30) using a mediator(20). Magnetic field is applied to the bonded carbon nanotube aggregate and the magnetic substance to disperse the carbon nanotube aggregate. The mediator is a radical initiator or a chemical formula, A-B. In the chemical formula, A represents an organic group bondable with carbon nanotube. The B represents an organic group bondable with the magnetic substance.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A dispersion method of carbon nanotube is provided to effectively disperse carbon nanotube aggregate by conveniently applying external magnetic field without separate physical process or chemical process. CONSTITUTION: A dispersion method of carbon nanotube comprises the steps of: mixing carbon nanotube aggregates, magnetic substances, and dispersing agents; and applying a magnetic field to the mixture to disperse the carbon nanotube aggregate. The magnetic substance includes one or more selected from the group consisting of ferric oxide, cobalt, nickel and chromium oxide.
