Abstract: PURPOSE: A distance measuring method is provided to rapidly estimate a distance. CONSTITUTION: A PN sequence generator(101) generates a PN sequence. A circulator(102) generates a transmission signal by circulating the generated PN sequence. A transceiving antenna(107) receives a reflected signal after transmitting the generated transmission signal to an object. A matching filter(103) executes a correlation function process by using the received signal. A distance calculator(105) calculates the distance from a target object by counting the number of peaks from the correlation function process when the peak number is greater than a threshold value.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for eliminating the side peak of the autocorrelation function of composite binary offset carrier(CBOC) signal are provided to reduce the error of position measurement by precisely performing a synchronization process. CONSTITUTION: An autocorrelation function generator(11) generates an autocorrelation function by receiving CBOC signal from a CBOC signal generator(14). A correlation function divider(12) divides the autocorrelation function into individual correlation functions. A correlation function recombination unit(13) recombines the individual correlation functions in order to generate a side-peak eliminated correlation function.

Abstract: 본 발명은 BOC 신호 동기화를 위한 단계 중 BOC 신호를 추적하는 과정에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 BOC 신호 추적 방법은 수신된 BOC 신호와 수신된 BOC 신호의 모든 기저 신호 간의 최초 상관함수가 생성되는 S1 단계, S1 단계에서 생성된 상관함수를 이용하여 주변 첨두가 제거된 최종 상관함수가 생성되는 S2 단계, S2 단계에서 주변 첨두가 제거된 상관함수가 판별기에 적용되는 S3 단계 및 S3 단계의 판별기를 이용하여 신호 추적이 수행되는 S4 단계를 포함한다.
본 발명에 따른 BOC 신호 추적 방법을 통해 신뢰성 있는 BOC 신호 동기화를 구현할 수 있으며, 차세대 위성 항법 시스템의 거리 측정 오차를 크게 낮춘다.-

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for estimating a fractional frequency offset using a pilot in a digital video broadcasting system is provided to efficiently estimate a frequency offset by comparing the performance of each frequency offset estimation method. CONSTITUTION: An OFDM symbol for a simulation is generated for estimating a frictional frequency offset. The generated OFDM symbol is transmitted in an AWGN environment and a multi-path rayleigh channel environment. The frictional frequency offset is set. The performance of the frictional frequency offset estimation is compared based on the frictional frequency offset estimation range according to each method and MSE(Mean Squared Error) for an SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio) to show the difference between the frictional frequency offset and the frictional frequency offset value.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for analyzing an OFDM frequency offset estimation accuracy using a repeated training symbol is provided to select a proper method according to the situation of a system by analyzing the use results of three different methods. CONSTITUTION: An OFDM symbol is generated for a simulation to estimate a frequency offset. The generated OFDM symbol is transmitted from an AWGN(Additive White Gaussian Noise) environment or rayleight fading channel environment. A normalized frequency offset is set. The frequency offset estimation accuracy of each method through a mean square error is compared to select the optimum method. The OFDM symbol has a sample interval of 0.2 us, 1024 sub carriers, and 40 samples of a protection section.
