    Abstract: PURPOSE: A polymer dispersed liquid crystal film having an adjustable phase retardation property is provided to change the phase of polarized light by electrically controlling the phase retardation property of the polymer dispersed liquid crystal film. CONSTITUTION: A transparent electrode (110) is formed on one surface of a transparent substrate (100). The transparent electrodes face each other. A polymer dispersed liquid crystal film (130) is formed between the transparent substrates having the transparent electrodes. The polymer and liquid crystal of the polymer dispersed liquid crystal film are dispersed with a predetermined rate. The polymer of the polymer dispersed liquid crystal film is a 40-80 weight% of the total weight. A liquid crystal alignment film (120) is arranged between the polymer dispersed liquid crystal film and the transparent substrate.
