Abstract: Provided is a sodium sulfur battery. The present invention includes a cartridge pipe that holds sodium and has a sodium discharge hole formed in a lower portion to discharge molten sodium; a solid electrolyte pipe that accommodates the cartridge pipe and allows sodium ion passage; a positive electrode container that accommodates the solid electrolyte pipe and sulfur; an insulating member that closes a space between the solid electrolyte pipe and the positive electrode container while bonding an upper portion of the solid electrolyte pipe and an upper portion of the positive electrode container to each other; a negative electrode cover that seals an upper portion of the cartridge pipe and has a sodium injection port formed; a stopper member that blocks the sodium discharge hole; a fixing member that fixes the stopper member to the upper portion of the cartridge pipe; and a bonding member that bonds the stopper member and the fixing member and is melted at an abnormal operation temperature of the sodium sulfur battery.
