    Abstract: The present invention relates to a fiber-biomass composite, wherein biomass is submerged in a binder fabric, a double-layered absorbent coated with a polymer having functional groups, and a method for manufacturing the same. The absorbent, according to the present invention, uses a fabric as an absorbent binder, and, therefore, is chemically stable against acids and bases. The absorbent is also provided with excellent mechanical properties, and can be readily applied to manufacture and process. In addition, the absorbent of the present invention can be improved with the absorption performance by using the functional groups of a polymer coated on the fabric.
