Abstract: A method and a system for basilar artery index measurement are provided. The method for measuring basilar artery index according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: setting a baseline of the basilar artery in an image of the basilar artery; selecting a point having the largest angulation of the basilar artery; and calculating an index for the basilar artery using the baseline and the point. Thereby, geometrical characteristics of the basilar artery can be quantized with various indexes and can be measured. Thus, a form and characteristics of the basilar artery, as a cause of brain stem infarction, can be easily grasped, a risk can be predicted by applying the same, and the identification of the location of vascular atherosclerotic can be widely applied for treatment, prevention, as well as clinic and basic researches.

Abstract: Provided is a method of inducing blood flow properties and an MR-shear rate using a time-of-flight-magnetic resonance angiography. According to the embodiment of the present invention, the method of inducing hemodynamics includes obtaining an MRA blood vessel cross section image, detecting the boundary of a blood vessel to find out the blood vessel, and providing a blood flow image by pseudo-coloring the blood vessel.
