The present invention provides a method for stably receiving AV data by reducing probability of false alarm that recognizes a point, which is not a starting point, as the frame starting point of a frame detection unit which detects the starting point of a transmission frame in a DVB-S2 system which is a next-generation satellite broadcasting system of Europe. According to the present invention, overall system stability can be acquired by preventing a wrong update to a system parameter having an error by providing a reliability criterion for decoding bit information of PLS code which provides overall frame structure information. PURPOSE: A gateway apparatus for digital video broadcasting and an integrated digital broadcast signal sender are provided for conversion and transmission of broadcast signals including a digital terrestrial TV signal, a digital satellite TV signal, and a digital cable TV signal through a single broadcast signal sender. CONSTITUTION: A first module (110) receives content for digital broadcasting having at least one format among a transport stream (TS), generic streams (GSE), GFPS, and GCS, and converts the received content into physical layer pipes (PLP) for an input type. A second module (120) performs mode adaptation and stream adpataion with the PLPs according to a predetermined frame configuration method and converts the PLPs into a baseband frame for S2 or a baseband frame for C2. A third module (130) converts the baseband frame into an integrated X2MI packet of a predefined structure. ATSC-M/H 다중화기의 동적 전송 파라미터 재설정 방법이 개시된다. 이 동적 전송 파라미터 재설정 방법은 Legacy ATSC의 전송률이 허용 가능한 최대 전송률을 초과하는지 판단하는 단계, 상기 판단 결과 초과하면, M/H 프레임 내 전체 M/H 그룹 수를 감소시키는 단계, 상기 감소된 전체 M/H 그룹 수에 따라 제어채널의 전송 파라미터를 재설정하는 단계를 포함한다. 즉, 동적 전송 파라미터 재설정 방법은 ATSC DTV의 전송률을 모니터링하여 허용 가능한 최대 전송률을 초과할 경우에 모바일 서비스에 할당된 전송률을 줄임으로써, 기존 DTV 서비스의 수신 품질이 열화되는 것을 방지할 수 있다.

PURPOSE: A broadcasting signal detecting device and a method thereof are provided to distinguish DRM+ (Digital Radio Mondiale Plus) broadcasting and FM broadcasting signal in the hybrid broadcasting mode. CONSTITUTION: A broadcasting signal detecting device (10) comprises a guard-interval corrector (110), a reference signal generator (120), and a signal determining unit (130). The guard-interval corrector normalizes the received signal which is performed guard-interval correlation operation and outputs the correlation signal. The reference signal generator takes the average for the predetermined observation symbol period after performing correlation operation between the current sample and the previous sample of the received signal which is FM signal or DRM+ signal. The reference signal generator generates the reference signal by normalizing the average of for the observation symbol period using the mean power of the current sample and the previous sample. The signal determining unit detects the maximum value of the reference signal and judges the received signal is FM signal if the maximum value of the reference signal exceeds the predetermined threshold.
