Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for preparing a thermoplastic resin composition is provided, to improve the transparency and the impact resistance by adding an unsaturated nitrile-based monomer in two times. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of polymerizing 20-40 parts by weight of a diene-based rubber polymer, 20-40 parts by weight of a methacryl alkyl ester-based monomer, 5-15 parts by weight of an aromatic vinyl-based monomer and 0-25 parts by weight of an unsaturated nitrile-based monomer to prepare a grafted copolymer (A); adding 40-80 parts by weight of a methacryl alkyl ester-based monomer, 10-30 parts by weight of an aromatic vinyl-based monomer and an initiator into a reactor at a time to prepolymerize the mixture, adding 0-50 parts by weight of an unsaturated nitrile-based monomer into the reactor to polymerize a methacryl alkyl ester-based copolymer (B); and mixing the grafted copolymer (A) and the methacryl alkyl ester-based copolymer (B).
