    Abstract: An acrylic resin is provided to ensure excellent transparency and softness, good weather resistance, and low toxicity compared with a soft polyvinylchloride, and to be applied to auto parts, housing of electric and electronic appliance, films, sheets and tubes. A method for manufacturing a transparent and soft acrylic resin comprises the steps of: polymerizing a monomer mixture including a methacrylate-based monomer, an alkyl acrylate-based monomer and a styrene-based monomer to prepare a first polymer having a refractive index of 1.49 ± 0.005 and a glass transition temperature of 10-20 °C; adding the monomer mixture to the first polymer to become a glass transition temperature of 0-10 °C and performing graft growth reaction of the added mixture; injecting the monomer mixture in the second polymer to become a glass transition temperature of 60-90 °C and performing polymerization to prepare the third polymer.

    Abstract: An impact reinforcing copolymer is provided to increase chemical affinity by copolymerizing an epoxide compound to an intermediate layer and a hard part and to improve impact reinforcement of polyvinyl chloride, polycarbonate, polyethyl terephthalate and polyamide. A method for manufacturing an impact reinforcing copolymer comprises the steps of: graft-polymerizing a diene-based rubber and an aromatic vinyl-based monomer to prepare a first graft polymer; adding an epoxide compound to the first graft polymer and then polymerizing the materials to prepare a second graft polymer; and injecting alkyl(meth)acrylate in the second graft polymer and then polymerizing the materials. The thermoplastic resin composition comprises (A) thermoplastic resin 70-99 weight% and (B) the impact reinforcing copolymer 1-30 weight%.
