PURPOSE: An adaptive beam forming method for cooperative beam forming system and a pilot duration/channel feedback duration selecting method are provided to minimize complexity of a cooperative beam forming system in a time variable channel environment. CONSTITUTION: A beam forming condition is obtained through an SVD(Singular Value Decomposition). A channel is obtained by using a beam forming matrix. The variation of the beam forming matrix is calculated through the variation of a channel. If the variation of the channel is delta HK(n), the channel is calculated when time is n.

PURPOSE: An adaptive beam design method and an access method are provided to generate a new beam vector based on information about a current channel and a previously calculated beam vector. CONSTITUTION: A cohesion coefficient matrixes Akl is updated(S10). The size of a matrix consists of a channel matrix Hk1 and a liner combination coefficient matrix Akl(S30). An eigen vector is extracted through a matrix(S40). The eigen vector of the smallest R is extracted by using an algorithm 1(S50). Time(n) is varied(S60).
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A transmission apparatus and method for performing interference alignment thereof, and a reception apparatus and method for operating the same are provided to generate a beam-forming matrix for adaptively arranging interference by using repeated minimum square method in an MIMO time variable interference channel. CONSTITUTION: A beam-forming matrix generating unit(214) generates a correlation coefficient for arranging beam-forming, the entire channel information corresponding to an interference channel environment and an optimized beam-forming matrix for interference arrangement by using the beam-forming matrix. A transmission unit(218) performs beam-forming for a signal by using the generated optimized beam-forming matrix. The transmission unit transmits the beam-formed signal to at least one reception device, and the beam-forming matrix generating unit generates an optimized beam-forming matrix through the repeated calculation for re-calculating the correlation coefficient by using the calculated beam-forming matrix.

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for accessing a radio network using a beam scanning scheme are provided to add or remove a femto base station to and from a wireless network easily. CONSTITUTION: An antenna unit(410) includes plural transmission and reception antennas, and a gain control unit(420) controls the maximum gain direction of the antenna unit. A reception unit(430) receives a pilot signal from at least one base station(460,470,480) through a gain-controlled antenna unit. A priority calculator(440) calculates an access priority for the base stations which receives a pilot signal, and an access unit(450) accesses at least one base station among the base stations based on the access priority.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A point-to-point communication method based on an OFDMA is provided to minimize power consumption of a terminal by performing the point-to-point communication between a transmission terminal and a reception terminal. CONSTITUTION: A base station determines the position of a reception terminal by receiving communication request information from a transmission terminal(S10). A distance between the transmission terminal and the reception terminal are compared with the preset range. The point-to-point OFDMA information including a subcarrier hoping sequence for the point-to-point communication is transmitted to the transmission terminal and the reception terminal(S20). The point-to-point communication is performed according to the received OFDMA information(S30).

A network configuration method and a transmission frequency selection method in a future wireless communication system are provided to effectively use wireless resources of a microwave frequency band for link communications between a base station and a base station controller in an external network and base stations to replace the communication with wireless communication, thereby drastically reducing infra construction costs. An access point determines a communication target(S41). If the communication target is a user terminal, the access point determines whether a visible channel is secured(S43). When capacity of a network tries is expanded, a disapproved band of 60~70 GHz is allocated(S44, S45).

본 발명은, 여러 사용자가 존재하는 다중입력 다중출력(Multi Input Multi Output : MIMO) 시변 간섭채널(Time varying interference channel) 환경에서 협력 빔 형성(Coordinated beamforming) 기법을 위한 적응적 빔 형성 기법에 대한 송신 알고리즘 및 단말의 속도에 따른 파일럿 듀레이션 적용(pilot duration adaptation) 기법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따르면, 채널이 변할 때마다 SVD 기법을 이용하여 매번 빔 형성 행렬을 다시 계산해 주어야 하므로 매우 큰 복잡도를 필요로 했던 종래기술의 문제점을 해결하여, 행렬의 곱셈만으로도 채널의 변화를 따라가는 적응적 빔 형성 기법이 제공됨으로써 실제 차세대 이동통신 시스템의 송신단을 구성하는 데에 핵심기술로 사용될 수 있고, 또한, 단말 그룹의 속도정보에 따라서 기지국에서 파일럿 듀레이션(pilot duration) 또는 채널 피드백 듀레이션(channel feedback duration)을 적절히 결정해 주는 기법이 제공됨으로써 주어진 자원을 가지고 최대의 시스템 성능을 낼 수 있다.

PURPOSE: An adaptive interference alignment method for time-variable multiuser MIMO interference channels is provided to estimate the channel of an uplink based on an estimated channel. CONSTITUTION: A first DL(DownLink) channel is estimated, and a repeated least square method is used to calculate a beam forming vector. When the channel does not vary much, an intrinsic value, an intrinsic vector and a new beam-forming vector are calculated through the first DL channel. If the channel varies much, a new beam-forming vector is acquired based on a predicted channel.
